1. The supply of laptops with Core 2 Duo processors sharply reduced because of the introduction of Intel Core I series i3, i5, and i7, and consumers turn to these microprocessors as substitutes for Core 2 Duo. How would you illustrate this change in the computer processor-market in supply-and-demand terms? Answer: The way I see it on the illustration of the Shift in a demand or a supply. Computer trends changes so fast that the producer must know the next step to produce while maintaining the old product at a reasonable price. Old brand must have allowances for discounts in promos likewise introductory price on the next level of the product being new in the market.

2. In February, the price of flowers rises and the quantity of flowers sold rises. Is this a violation of the law of demand? Justify.answer: YES. The producers speculate the supply and demend for the season. Since as Filipino practice February or Valentines day, people buys flower for their love ones regardless the price. Producers produce more and demand a high price which is normally in the Law of demand “The higher the price the lower quantity demanded”.

3. Mang Juan and Associates charges P1, 000 per page for language translation of a certain document fromFrench to Filipino. If total revenue is P60, 000 in August, how many pages were translated and paid that month? Answer: 60000 / 1000 =60pages

1. Core 2 Duo processor is deffine as (2 Procesors) in 1 Microprocessors made

by Intel Corporation.later they release this so called Intel Core 2 Quad qith

4 processors in 1 single Micro Processor. it is known as one of the most

presise technology that can process upto 64bit programming language or X86

processing. it was first introduce in fall of 2005 that debut all aound the

globe. In this times, Intel unveils its NEW TECHNOLOGY in microprocessors. It

is called as the Intel Core i Series. It defines as the follows. (Core i3 is

equivalent as 4 processors in 1 single Microprocessor)(Core i5 is equivelent

to 6 processors in 1 Single Microprosessor)(while Core i7 is Equivalent to 8

processors in 1 Single Microprocessor). It is a New Technology Buit by Intel

Corporation. And it is Depend the bus and cache speed in many ways of how you

will handle or for what specific task of your computer designed to. For me, it

is not a substitute because it is a new technology not a alternative. Human

has unlimited wants. (Walang katapusang pag hahanap ng bagay na makakapg bigay

ng kaligayahan) and it is the real score on why people are using this kind of

technology. In some time, Core D processors will be obsolite and will be

vanish in the market. Just like the others pass masters processors like Intel

Pentiums.

2.The Law of Demand (As the demand increase, the suply will increase too).

Febuary month is the month of valentines as people seek for their unlimited

wants, flowers will be more demanded by consumers as for the business oriented

persons, it is their opportunity to get the higher income. just like Noverber

1, flower is also a must for the occation. I think, it not a violation. It is

so called Pre-Entrepreneuship.

3. Mang Juan has a gross profit of 60,000Php for the month of august. Also a

charge of Mang Juan and His Associates per page of language translation with

the amount of 1,00Php. Therefor 60,000Php/1,000Php is equivalent to 600Php. So

it will be 600 pages and 60,000Php was given to Mang Juan.

How would you illustrate this change in the computer processor-market in supply-and-demand terms?
Answer: I always remember the passage of “grab it while potato is hot” it tells us that as long as there is opportunity to change, grab it...In this situation business men in the different department of computer really knows how to develop microprocessors for better...all the things that you can see in this are computer made, you cannot be employed if your background in computer literacy is not satisfactory, this means that the world is a generation of microchips and push the button trend..As long as there is supply of computers and need of the society, it always follow the supply and demand.

2. In February, the price of flowers rises and the quantity of flowers sold rises. Is this a violation of the lawof demand? Justify.
Answer: as the demand increases the supply increases there is certain law that are exceptional, if you will observe the month falls on February where buyers of flowers are in demand and so the tendency it was sold immediately, well there would come a time that the value of flower is too low but as i remember if the occasion is too near the more the price will doubled.

3. Mang Juan and Associates charges P1, 000 per page for language translation of a
document fromFrench to Filipino. If total revenue is P60, 000 in August, how many pages were translated and paid that month?
Answer: the total revenue or income fro the month of august is P60,000 and the charge of Mang Juan and his associates per page of language translation is P,1000.so P60,000/P1,000= 600
Therefore, there are 600 pages and P60,000 was paid to Mang Juan.

ECOMICS:

1. Illustration:

In the demand curve of Core 2 Duo, the shift in demand curve is going to the left/leftward. 
In the supply curve for Core 2 Duo, the shift in supply curve is downward /↓ because of many factors like presence of alternative items and current fashion.

2. First we must define what law of demand is. Law of demand is an economic law or microeconomic law that states that, all factors being equal, as the price of goods or services increases, consumer demand of the goods or services decreases and vice versa. So if the price of the goods goes down, the demand should increase. That is, if all the factors remain constant or the same. Factors include the consumer's income, price of related goods, and tastes of the consumer remain unchanged. If you take a quick look at the statement of how the price of flowers rises, the law of demand should mean that the demand or the quantity of flowers should be sold would decrease. But since the demand also increased, does that mean it is a violation of the law? Well, not quite. The law also states that the factors should remain constant, which I believe have not, which in turn negates it being an example of law of demand. The key is February. In February, there is Valentine's Day. A day unlike any other day of the year where everyone shares the same day to show appreciation of love to the person or people that are special to them. And because of that, unlike any other time of the year, everyone's "tastes" of buying flowers is different. It greatly increases. That factor alone changes February into the one month, regardless of price increase of flowers, there still will be an increase of the quantity of flowers being sold. Surely enough, if the price of flowers had increased in a non-romantic holiday/month like July, it would be easy to assume that the demand of the flowers would decrease. So, because of the factor NOT being constant from one month to another, this is NOT an example of a violation of law of demand.

3. P 60,000 revenue / P1, 000 per page = 60 pages were translated and paid for the month of August.

1. The demand for the laptops with core 2 duo processors will reduce or will shift to the left, which means the quantity demanded for the core 2 duo decreases since those consumers switch to the new introduced Intel core I series. Moreover, since the supply of the core 2 duo was sharply reduced the price of the core 2 duo will decrease, as law of supply is directly proportional. The quantity supply will shift to the right, which means the supply of laptops with core 2 duo processor will reduced.

2. For me maybe it is NOT a violation of the law of demand, because the flowers were sold during the month of February, which is the month of valentines, a seasonal month, so many people were to buy flowers to give for their especial someone and it is expected of those entrepreneurs. Therefore, as an entrepreneur you know that many people will buy flowers and you will put a higher price on the quantity of the flowers for you to gain more profit.

1.The introduction of Intel Core I series i3, i5, and i7, for me the supply and demand in market of the core duo decrease because of the changes in technology. On the other hand, maybe it is because they create another new product and more valuable or durable product and faster microprocessor, that is why it reduced the supply and demand of the core 2 duo processor.

2.Yes. For me it will consider as a violation in law of demand because when we say law of demand it is an economic law that states that consumers buy more of a good when its price decreases and less when its price increases or what we called “ceteris paribus” which means that there is no other things is considered. It also states that the amount demanded of a commodity and its price are inversely related, other things remaining constant. That is, if the income of the consumer, prices of the related goods, and tastes and preferences of the consumer remain unchanged, the consumer’s demand for the good will move opposite to the movement in the price of the good. So, even if the month of February is a month of giving flowers due to valentine’s day it is still not right that the higher the price the higher the demand because in the law demand it doesn’t consider any other things.

1. The new processors of Intel core 1 series i3, i5 and i7 why the core 2 duo processors reduced. The consumers choose the new one because of the development of the processors. It has changes of technology; they invented new processors that the buyer gets their attention to try the new one.
2. microeconomic law that states that, all other factors being equal, as the price of a good or service increases, consumer demand for the good or service will decrease and vice versa.
Yes. Because higher price attracts lower demand & lower prices encourage high quantity to be bought by the consumers is based on logic and experience. Mathematically, the inverse relation may be stated with causal relation.
3. 60 pages will mang juan translated and paid that month.

How would you illustrate this change in the computer processor-market in supply-and-demand terms?
__________________________________________________________________________
Answere: if this will continuing happened the company supplier of the laptops with Core 2 Duo processors supplies will be deficit because of People might turn to buy the Intel Core l series i3, i5, and i7 instead of using or buying laptops with Core 2 Duo processors which may cause of fall down and reduction of supply, there’s a lot of reason why could this occurrence happened . This may be due to some factors that affect the supply coming from the seller.

2. 2. In February, the price of flowers rises and the quantity of flowers sold rises. Is this a violation of the law of demand? Justify.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Answere: For me I could say yes in part of costumer’s right. Because human rights are covered here, but on the part of the sellers and producers, it’s their advantage to earn double on the price given to the product which they indorsed …

1)In this situation, the demand of the said core 2 duo processor will decreases because of some problem or changes that occurs along the way. Like for example the changes of style or fashion of the consumer or the changes in technology or we should say the development of the technology that is happening in this modern world. The Core I series i3, i5, and i7 are much convenient and easy to use than the other computer that is being compared. The supply of this item will decrease but the price will increase.

2)If the price of flowers rises and the quantity of the flowers sold also rises, it is a violation on the Law of Demand because the Law of Demand merely stated that the Qd or the quantity demand and the price is inversely proportional, so this means that if the quantity demand of the product is decreases the price of the product increases and if the Price of the product decreases the quantity of demand increases. So, if the said situation will happen it is not already what the law of demand is saying.

3)it is 60 pages.

2. no, because the producers keep the other flowers for those people has pursue to buy the flowers for there love ones, for me they are not violet the the law of demand its because the month of February are the seasonal, unless the other producers produce the higher price.

1) In terms of supply-and-demand terms, there are lots of factors to be considerd influencing the quantity demanded and quantity supply of a certain product, like for this example given if the quantity demanded is high the price falls, and if the demanded is low the price will rise, also if the quantity supply is high the price will fall, if the quantity supply is low the price will rise.

The given example which was the supply of laptops (core2duo) was being substituted by core1series i3,i6 and i7 shows that the change of supply-and-demand change due to the presence of alternative items and current fashion of a given period of time.

2) Yes, this is a violation in the law of demand because in the law of demand, the quantity demanded between price are inversely proportional of the quantity demanded is low the price will rise, and if the quantity demanded is high, the price will fall.
3) There are sixty (60) pages were translated and paid that month

1. There are many factors that affects the quantity demanded a buyer and quantity supply that a seller produce. In this given example in number 1, series i3, i5 and i7, maybe the factor that affects is the buyers change in their taste and fashion that's why treir substituted to the Core 2 duo.

2. Yes, this is a violation of the law of demand, because the lawof demand is inversely propotional. THe quantity demanded is high the lower the price, the higer the quantity demanded the lower the price.

3. There are 60 pages were translated and paid that month.
