1. We need K-12 program because we need to expand our skills for the career we are going to take.

2.The deaths of thousands and the destruction of people prompted the government to investigate why such a “weak storm” had caused massive destruction on the lives and properties of the people. Task force Sendong was created to investigate the presence of thousands of cut logs along the shores of Iligan city. These logs have caused the killing of many people and destroyed thousands of houses and properties during the flashflood. These logs are traced to come from a Makati based logging company in Manila. Now government officials are starting to pin point on who is to be held responsible to this incident. Whose term and whose administration allowed the logging operations of logging companies.

3.The Philippines and Peru are among emerging economies that would become much more prominent in the next few decades, helped by demographics and rising education standards, with the Philippines set to leapfrog 27 places to become the 16th largest economy by 2050, according to a prediction of international bank HSBC.

The bank expected China to overtake the United States as the world’s biggest economy by 2050, and said strong growth rates in other developing countries would help drive the global economy.

“Plenty of places in the world look set to deliver very strong rates of growth. But they are not in the developed world, which faces both structural and cyclical head winds. They are in the emerging world,” the bank said in a report “The World in 2050.”

1. The Asian countries have now lowest rank the subject is Math and Science. Many high school graduated prioritized to work or find the job instead of continuing study in college. The college degrees must require. DepEd will implement the K - 12 program begins with the S. Y. 2012 - 2013 but the elementary school will add the new curriculum once and the same with high school through S. Y. 2016 - 2017. It's not only in the Philippines has the K - 12 program but in Myanmar. The Kindergarter, instead of two years, will be one year. The elementary school students in Grade One, as of now, is 6 years old. The high school students in First Year is 12 years old. The high school was divided into two. It is junior and senior high school. The senior high school was added. We have always ranked in the bottom, the subject are Math and Science. Korean students in our country studying English subject and other citizens. K - 12 is expected to change all that. All of the world is the 12 years of study. Critical thinking is going to be key in the K - 12 program according to Secretary Armin Luistro. It must be focus on teaching about 12 years of education instead of 10. TESDA is the technical studying while CHED is general education into basic education. K - 12 program will include the special school. Start with S. Y. 2012 - 2013, K - 12 program will introduce slowly. The new curriculum will be introduce only in Grade One and Grade Seven(First Year Junior High School). By S. Y. 2017 - 2018, all levels will introduce the new curriculum. The 5-year-old children will be in Grade One start with June. It has encourage to enroll in Grade One. The K - 12 program has met with with resistance, a lot of which come from the youth sector and the parents themselves. Adding 2 years in high school will offer more requirements in school and the curriculum and some students will not continue the study the 2-year-high school because of financial problem. it's lack of resources such as classrooms and teachers. The buildings will add more rooms, chairs and other materials in school. It has lack of budgets.

2. Last December 17, 2011, there was severe tragedy in a year, the typhool Sendong held in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City. This the most exclusive issue I ever seen. It is not just typhoon, it also have landslide held in Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012. It is the first time that affect in Mindanao, the typhoon and landslide. The residents had many lost belongings and homes. I unexpected that is the heavy-rainfall in Mindanao and also very sensitive. For the residents have no home, it can evacuate in multi-purpose, schools and other places that is safe. Therefore, it was an unexpected fate that caught everybody unprepared. During flash flood, it was the most common disaster. It was many victims such as dead, wounded and missing persons. It also lost homes, destroyed thousand belongings and others. In celebrating Christmas and New Year, many people have no foods to sacrifice especially their places was affected. The Philippines has a tropical rain forest so it can compromise the land area. The socio-economic development suppose the attribute of deforestation. Many people had cutting trees or illegal logging can cause flash flood. Forestry must make project in our environment about that. Almost in Mindanao have logging operations and mining operation is the most indigeneous and many companies. In Compostela Valley, the number of mining operation for gold can cause landslide which killed more than 20 people and about 100 were still missing. Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City was December 17, 2011 while Compostela Valley was January 5, 2012. The tragedy in places mentioned was few weeks.

3. The Philippines and Peru have more prominent in the next few decades. By 2050, it according the international bank HSBC expecting will increase the largest economy in the world. United states has strong rates of growth and world's biggest economy. Will Unites States is smaller or bigger than other countries? HSBC has many fundamentals. It has per capita, rule of law, democracy, education levels and demographic change. The Philippines will become a "star performer" said the bank. It is likely to post an average in the next 40 years and from 2010 to 2020, it will slowly increase. I don't know if 2020 through 2050 will slowly or rapidly increase. Maybe in HSBC and other departments about the economics. The advantages of the Philippines was favored of macroeconomic fundamentals and improving governance. It will sustain growth over the years. Population in the Philippines was rapidly increase and it not just that, it was economy, governments and others. According to HSBC's forecast, the top 20 largest economics by 2050 will be China, United States, India, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Spain, Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and Egypt. I expected some countries will be on top 20 because it is strongly access the economics and population. It will discuss the fundamentals by HSBC. I think the Philippines will be on top 20 as expected in terms. It expected to post the biggest leap in next four decades. "The Philippines look set for a multidecade run of strong growth. Peru as the same period on average by the Philippines. In countries such as Nigeria and Pakistan means the economics including among the 100 biggest economics in per capita. The losers are the small population. Some countries has small population will not lose. It sufficiently open the modern technology. The problems will face the truth by many of the continent's goverment.

ANSWER:
1. We need DepEd's K-12 program because “We are the LAST country in
Asia and one of only three countries in the world with a 10-year
pre-university program.” said Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro at a media press conference and open forum. The K-12 system aims to be a catch-up for the Philippines, seeing that most other countries already have 12 years of pre-university education. We cannot continue to insist on our current 10-year program if some of our graduates are looking to working or taking further studies abroad.
According to DepEd, a 12-year program is found to be the adequate period for learning under basic education and is a requirement for recognition of professionals abroad.

K-12 will better equip students with skills for future employment.

We have always ranked in the bottom when it comes to Math and Science. Even our so-called English advantage is slowly being eroded. We see an influx of Korean youth studying English in our country. China is now encouraging its citizens to learn English. And I heard from a relative returning from a trip to Cambodia that many street people he encountered could engage tourists in English as well as other languages.

Critical thinking is going to be key in the K to 12 program according to Secretary Luistro. Students who
finish the 12 years of education then are better equipped vocationally or technically to apply for employment even without pursuing higher education.
Special schools such as science high schools and trade schools and
high schools for the arts will have enriched curriculum but focus on
their specializations will continue.
2. The tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many areas of Northern
Mindanao during the flashfloods that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan
City last December 17, 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan Compostela
Valley last January 5, 2012 are more than enough of a wake up call
for everyone. It is a disaster because the presence of thousands of cut logs along the shores of Iligan city was seen. These logs have caused the killing of many people and destroyed thousands of houses and properties
during the flashflood. These logs are traced to come from a Makati
based logging company in Manila. Now government officials are
starting to pin point on who is to be held responsible to this
incident. It is a murder because the forestry that had played a
vital role in the socio economic development of the country but due
to deforestation in late 1980s, it had depleted. The increasing
deforestation in the Philippines was attributed to the
ineffectiveness of our forest laws and its enforcements. There are
logging and mining companies which illegally operates up until now
that caused landslide which killed thousands of people. That's the
nature's way to take revenge as she had been continously murdered.
3. The Philippines and Peru are among emerging economies that would become much more prominent in the next few decades, helped by demographics and rising education standards, with the Philippines set to leapfrog 27 places to become the 16th largest economy by 2050, according to a prediction of international bank HSBC. HSBC said the Philippines was also put at an advantageous position by its growing population, which, if properly educated and trained, should help the economy generate more income over the next decades. The fact that the Philippines has relatively low income gives it much room for growth, and that its favorable fundamentals will help the country maximize that room, the bank said.
According to HSBC’s forecast, the Top 20 largest economies by 2050 will be China, United States, India, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Spain, Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and Egypt. HSBC said that the Philippines’ 16th rank by 2050 in terms of economic size marks a 27-notch improvement from its performance in 2010.

2.The tragedy is a part in our life, flas floods, lansdlide, typoon, etc, but people must be aware when having a disaster, destruction on the lives and properties expected, whether we like it or not it will going to happen.
everyone is responsable on environmental destruction that happened in mindanao.goverment official an people who commited the destruction of our environment.the goverment official allowed the logging operation of logging copanies and the mining operation and companies.they still encourage foriegn investors through the public-private partnership progra,to invest in the philipines and to operate logging and miningoperation.
logging oparation and minning operation is dangerous in our environment. the effect of thes operation why the environment murderd and people murrderd that happend in mindanao.
if the goverment still allow to operate the logging and minning companies, people are incouraged to destruct our environment continously murderd our nature incouraged to kill lives and destruct our properties,we have paid the price.

1.) WHY WE NEED DEP-ED K-12 PROGRAM

Why we need Dep-Ed k-12 program? That’s the first question in this article. And why is that so? Because, according to Department of education (Dep-Ed) secretary Bro. Armin Luistro at that we need to add 2 years for educational purpose because like the other countries they have 12-14 years of pre-university education. And aside from that there are lots of students from the other countries go here to the Philippines just to continue their study here. As we all know that our country is good in speaking English that’s why other countries right now are teaching English subject like China and South Korea who before are going to the Philippines just to study English language.
Our students her in the Philippines are now ranked among the lowest in Asia when it comes to the subjects math and Science. According to this Article that they believe that if the K-12 program will introduce this SY 2012-2013 the students are going to be more productive, they believe that if this will be implemented there are lots of jobs waiting for them here in the Philippines and in abroad, even though there are some who criticized our curriculum I hope that K-12 program will change all that.
Of course if it will be introduce there are some problems that our government going to face. The first is the ADDED COST TO THE PARENTS as we all know our country is suffering from a poverty right now and according to Department of Education Secretary, that if their children are enrolled to the public schools they don’t need to worry about only the allowances of their children like food and transportation if their houses are far from the school. Secondly, LACKS OF CLASSROOMS AND TEACHERS before, that was the problem of the government until now but they said that the budget for this program as of now is raised up to P238.8 billion including the P2.4 billion budget for the kinder and lastly, SOME PARENTS CANT WAIT TO HAVE THEIR CHILDREN STAR WORKING, because before at the age of 15-16 years old the students are graduate at high school but when the program will be implemented it will added 2 years for them before they graduate from high school.
See, if we want a fighting chance of staying in the employment game, we need to hold our own with the rest of the world. And I hope that with the helped of this our countrymen will be more successful in the future.

2.) In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people; environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse.

The tragedy happened to the places Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan City and the other places in Mindanao many people died because of this tragedy and there are also some of them are still missing. It is because of the tropical storm sendong that passes through the area of Mindanao with heavy rain-falls and the unexpected rise of the water levels in the rivers-great enough to consume all the houses near the river banks. And aside from that it is because of the logging company in the place of Mindanao that cause of flash flood.
This tragedy or disaster destructed a lot of houses and properties in Northern Mindanao. These logs are traced to come from a Makati based logging companies in Manila. Now government officials are starting to pinpoint on who is to be held responsible to this incident.
I hope that the logging companies and mining areas in some part of Mindanao will be stop for the sake of our countrymen and our beloved mother nature or our environment and the people in Mindanao.
And I hope that it will never happen again never ever, never in Mindanao not in the Philippines and I hope that never happen to the other country.

3.)Philippines to leapfrog to the 16th largest economy by 2050.

According to a prediction Philippines it is set to leapfrog 27th to 16th largest economy by the year 2050, however it will be happened in the future.
As we see today, there are so plenty of countries competing and there are a lot of investors invested in a lot of company.
HSBC forecast said that on the fundamentals such as current income per capita, rule of law, democracy, education levels and especially the demographic change.
The bank also said that the Philippines would become a “star performer” in terms of its economic leap in the global rankings.
And the top 20 largest in the world the first is China followed by United States of America followed by India, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, France, Canada, Italy, Turkey, South Korea, Spain, Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and lastly Egypt.
As we see China is going to be the largest economy in the world and it overtake the United State which is the most powerful country before and today.
“Losers” it is the one called to the small population, aging economies like Europe, because Europe is more focused about their debt problems like the other continents government faces right now. And as we all know plenty of the economic countries using Modern Technologies, why? Obviously it’s because using it is having a big shared to the economy.
If China would be the largest economy in the world, the most commonly cited reasons concern about China is the high rate of investment as a percentage of GDP and according to them they believe that the strong rate of investment is entirely justified providing them with their much needed basic infrastructure.

It aims to produce employable 18 year old high school graduates by giving them a longer time to study and master employable skills. I think everybody have the same opinion with me that the Philippine education is in a state of crisis. We know very well the shortages in teachers, classrooms, facilities, books and learning materials, and it is deteriorating every year. Drop out rate is failing.
Given the points above, I am not in favor of this K+12 program. On the issue of education my stance is always this: the government should always prioritize and allot higher budget for education, the government must work hard for the quality of the Philippine education not the quantity, and lastly every Filipino child should have the right to equal access to education from primary up to tertiary level.

1. Why we need DepEd’s K-12 program

This DepEd’s K-12 program is very important to us because we are the last country in Asia and one of only three countries in the world with a 10-year pre-university program. DepEd is also saying that the two years will be like a course in Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). so that for those who cannot afford to go to college, they can begin looking for jobs after high school. And this program claims that the two years will provide better quality education for all. The program aims to make Philippine education at par with the rest of the world, with 12 years of basic schooling already a global standard. According to the DepEd, only the Philippines, Angola and Djibouti have a 10-year basis schooling cycle. Because of this program our country is slowly but surely successful.

2. In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people, environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worst.

The tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many part of Northern Mindanao during the flash floods that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City last December 17, 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012 are more than enough of a wake up call for everyone. Its seems that nobody knows what happen to our environment after the Tropical storm “Sendong” passes through the area of Mindanao. And this disaster were killed thousands of people in Northern Mindanao, thousands of houses and properties has been destroyed. And these are the results of Illegal Logging and Illegal Mining. These logs are traced to come from a Makati based logging company in Manila. And the government officials are starting to pin point on who is to be held responsible to this incident. The cause of landslide in Compostela Valley are end results of Mining operations of gold in Mt. Diwata that killed 20 people and about 100 people were still missing. The wrath of nature is its own way of crying as she had been continuously murdered. And the deaths of thousands of people can never be just considered as part of the collateral damage-it is murder.

1. Because We are the LAST country in Asia and one of only three countries in the world with a 10-year pre-university program. K-12 system aims to be a catch-up for the Philippines, seeing that most other countries already have 12 years of pre-university education.

2. When Sendong's comes in the philippines many houses has fly away almost 53% had lost the forest land. In this case plenty of people had died. It was so shock when I saw the news and I'm worrying because Iligan City is my province and I'm so sad when my Brother-in-law died because of Typhoon Sendong My mother always crying because of this tragedy that our family in Iligan was affected.

1.K- 12 is a catch up attempt to put the Philippines at par with the rest of the world. This came as a shock as we still hold with pride the fact that we are an English-speaking nation and that other Asian countries used to send their children to our country in the 60s and 70s to study since the Philippines was a premier educational destination. K-12 will better equip students with skills for future employment. K-12 aims to be a catch up for the Philippines, seeing that most other countries already have 12 years of pre- university education. Deped is trying to correct the situation and bring our educational standards up to par with global standards through the K-12 program which will be implemented in phases beginning with the school year (SY) 2012-13.

This said tragedy killed many people here in our country. We all know that these kinds of calamity are unexpected.

1.K- 12 prpogram i s a catch-up attempt to put the Philippines at par with the next of the world. T he K- 12 system aims to be a cacth-up for the Philipines, seeing that most other countries already have 12 years of pre- university education. We cannot continue to insists on our current 10 – year program if some of our graduates are looking to working or taking furthere studies abroad.
Actually, every public school especially here in NCR Region already had an erly registration last January of the same year to be able for the government to know how many classrooms, facilities, and teachers will be needingi in preparation for the said program. The K- 12 program is one of the most important issue as of today, they need more attention from the government, there is nothing wrong if the said program would be implemented because this would surely not affect to the school children, therefor it might be helpful for them. Now a days most of the high school graduates or even people who took or had already finished their college degree, they could not find a job easily because most of them had lack of experiences.
I think the K-12 program is very helpful not only for the school children but for the parents also for it will help them to enhance the skills they have. We knew that there are parentscannot afford to send their children to the higher degree to be able to pursue their studies. The K-12 porgram have a good intention simply because they wanted to enhance and develop the knowledge and skills of every learner to be attain their goals and can be useful in their daily lives. I will also agree with this prorgam because in any case if the learner woudl be trained well, they will learned more, and adapt new learning, they could find a job easily if any case they cannot pursue their collge degree. But it does’nt necessary mean that they dont need to pursue their higher education.
2. Typhoon sendong killed the life of many people in some areas of Northern Mindanao, distroyed properties, infrastracture and brought change the to the lives of individuals in the said place. Children lost their parents, parents lost their children, siblings, grandparents friends and etc.
Because of the tragedy there are lots of questions arise in the mind of everybody. Is there someone to be blame? Because of illegal logging and other abused to the environment, the soil from the mountain pushed on he houses or landslide took the certain individuals, landslide is the outcome of cutting of trees, the roots of the trees which supposed to hold the soil to avoid landslide were disappeared. Is the local government lack in implementing the rules? I think in that case they have fault also because if they want to implement the law they make sure they were given also a punishment for those who did not follow the rules or the laws.

1.The k-12 system aims to be a catch up for the Philippines, seeing that most other country already has 12 years of pre-university education. K-12 program is very important in every student who wants to get a better job, why? because in other country like America are looking for those who graduate in a better education and also look for their educational background, as what the article said the Americas could get a summer job or option not to pursue a college education and get qualify for work and that’s why k-12 program is very important.

We have always ranked in the bottom when it comes to math and science; even our so-called English advantage is slowly being eroded. As we notice the Korean youth are studying English in our country while china is now encouraging its citizen to learn English language. According to secretary luistro, critical thinking is going to be a key in the k-12 program. The students who finish the 12 years of education then are better equipped vocationally or technically to apply for employment even without pursuing higher education, and the special school such as science high school and trade school and high school for the arts will have enriched curriculum but focus on their specialization will continue.

Many of the parents are not agree in the k-12 program of the department of education because they are thinking of the expenses use for it, as long as the year level are added the finance will also increase but are they thinking what will happen to their children, it will develop the skills and talent of the student and so on can get a better job that will help them in the near future.

Environment destruction in Mindanao at its worse. The Cagayan de oro and iligan city suffered in tragedy that had ravaged the areas of northern Mindanao during the flashfloods last dec.17,2011 and also the landslide at compostella valley last jan.5,2012 are more than enough of a wake up call for everyone. Thousands of people died because of the tragedy we experienced in this world, why we are suffering that experience right now? like landslide and flashfloods that cause a thousands people died, one of the reason of that is the illegal logging, if we don’t even cut a trees do you think it will cause a floods, of course no , yes we can cut trees but a soon as possible we need to be responsible of that , I mean if we cut trees plants more trees. And other reasons is the misplaced garbage, we just throw the garbage in a improper positions which cause of the floods also.

According to the 1995 philippine forestry statistics comprise a land area of 30 millions where in 53% is a forest land. The issue of illegal logging in the lanao province can never be an isolated case, in fact almost all provinces in Mindanao have logging operations and mining operations. Our nature is the reasons why thousands of people died and millions of families cried it is because of what we did in our environment, we don’t even care our own nature that affect the daily living in this world.

The death of thousands people can never be just considered as part of the collateral damage it is murder. It is murder perpetrated by national and multi-national companies backed of the government line agencies through its policies, they have murdered our environment and also the people around it. And they will continue to murder our future. Unless we the people and other parts of the country should act upon this by exposing the other system.

3. According to the prediction of international banked Hsbc the Philippine set to jump or leapfrog from 27th places to become 16th largest economy by year 2050. And they also know that the country have a biggest population but they make it positive in the way of putting an advantage position by its growing population where they said if the people of that are properly educated and trained, it will help the economy generate more income over the next decades.

2.We all know that tragedy can harm our lives.Looking back in past year,a tragedy came in many areas of northern Mindanao. The flash floods hit Cagayan de oro city and Iligan city.Another tragedy came in Pantukan Compostela Valley last jan.5 2012.This is because of the tropical storm Sendong that passes through the area of Mindanao with heavy rainfalls and the unexpected rise of the water levels in the rivers-great enough to consume all the houses near the river banks, created new pathways and submerged deep the areas that is before haven't experienced flooding .it was an unexpected fate that caught everybody unprepared.
Destruction of people prompted the government to investigate why such a "weak-storm" had caused massive destruction on the lives and properties of many people. They created the task force Sendong to investigate the thousand of cut logs along the shores of Iligan city. These was the reason why many people are killed and thousand of houses and properties are destroyed. This time government officials are starting to pin point on who is to be held responsible to this incident.
According to the 1995 Philippine Forestry Statistics comprise a land of 30 million where in Philippines has 53%forest land.Because of the deforestation in late 1980's,the socio economic development which has played by forestry has depleted.Almost the entire area of Caraga province have logging and mining operations. In Mt.Diwata Compostela Valley which a number of mining operations for gold recently has a landslide which killed more than 20 people and 100 are still missing.Another tragedy that happen while Iligan and Cagayan de oro city where still in the process of rehabilitation.Government encouraged foreign investors through the public partnership program to invest in the Philippines and most of these investment evolved around mining, crop conversions, and land conversions.Don't lose hope.Remember God is always with ther for us.Let us help our Mother Nature.

1). A k-12 or a 12 year Education Program is found to be the adequate period for learning under basic education and is a requirement for recognition of professionals abroad. This K-12 system aims to be a catch up for the Philippines seeing that most other countries already have 12 years of Pre University Education. We cannot continue to insist on our current 10 year program if some of our graduates are looking to working or taking further studies abroad.
We need this K-12 Program to learn more and to be more knowledgeable to all information that we want. It may enhance our mind and skills in on the time that goes by. DEP-ED is trying to correct the situation and bring our educational standards up to par with Global standards through the K-12 Program. According to Secretary Luistro, critical thinking is going to be key in the K-12 Programs. The acquisition and mastery of life long skills will become the focus of teaching compared to the present congested curriculum which compresses 12 years of education into 10. In this program, students may have a time to focus and understand their studies which is better for them. They may have so much time to think and spend time in school. K-12 is will also a better equip students with skills for future employment. We have always ranked in the bottom when it comes to Math and Science; even our so called English advantage is slowly being eroded. Our curriculum has been criticized as being fraught with rote memorization. K-12 is expected to change that.
The public schools will feel the change more than most Private schools which as of now already offer at least 12 years of basic education can be from 12 to 14 years. Beginning with SY 2012-13, K to 12 will be introduced slowly. Initially the new curriculum will be introduced only in Grade 1 and Grade 7 (High School Year 1). Every school year thereafter, another level would introduce the new curriculum. In Asia, Philippines is the only one that have 10 year program of education. Unlike the other country that their education is much longer and higher compare to us. But now, K-12 Program may help us to enhance our skills that qualify them for more professionals and better paying jobs in the future. Children will be better trained and learned. Graduates will not be able to show completion of a 13 year education, making them more competitive in job employment.

2). Tropical storm Sendong, the tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many areas of Northern Mindanao during the flashfloods that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City last December 17, 2011 and landslide in Pantukan, Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012 are more than enough of a wakeup call for everyone. This were happened because of the Tropical storm Sendong that passes through the area of Mindanao with heavy rain falls and the unexpected rise of the water levels in the rivers-great enough to consume all of the houses near the river banks created new pathways and submerged deep the areas that is before haven’t experienced flooding. Therefore, it was an expected fate that caught everybody unprepared.
But the tropical storm Sendong that ravaged the areas of Northern Mindanao is not really the main cause of the deaths of thousands and the destruction of people in Mindanao. It was happened because it was also people who are irresponsible and no patience in wrong doing when it comes to our forest. They don’t have inconsiderate to cut the trees or illegal logging to the forest which was caused of the flashfloods in Mindanao. This tragedy will never happen if people are concern and responsible being to our environment.
Philippines according to the 1995 Philippine Forestry comprise a land area of 30 million ha., wherein 53% is a forest land. Forestry had played a vital role in the Socio Economic Development of the country but due to deforestation in late 1980’s, it had depleted. In Mindanao, almost all Provinces have logging and mining operations. To name a few, almost the entire area of Caraga province have logging operation and even open pit mining operations, in Mt. Diwata, Compostela Valley which a numberof mining operations of gold recently has a landslide which killed more than 20 people and about 100 where still missing. The incident in Compostela was just few weeks after the incident in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro, City. How many people will sacrifice if another tropical storm like Sendong will come? Are we prepared for another landslide and flashfloods that we maybe encounter? We will never be happen it again, but we need to do something or action that may help to save our environment.
3). Philippines leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050, according to a prediction of international bank HSBC. It seems to be good news to the people of Philippine country to know that our country will be the 16th largest economy after these years. After all unexpected tragedy like flashfloods in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City, landslide in Compostela and recently the earthquake in another part of Mindanao that cause of deaths of people, it is sign of hope and raise of the Philippines.
HSBC based its forecasts on fundamentals such as current income per capita, rule of law, democracy, education levels and democratic change. The bank said Philippines would become a “star performer” in terms of its economic leap in the global rankings. HSBC said Philippines were likely to post an average growth of 7 percent in the next 40 years. Breaking down the average growth forecasts, the bank said the country would like grow by 8.4% from 2010 to 2020, by 7.3% from 2030 and 6.6% from 2-30 to 2040 and by 5.8% from 2040 to 2050.
HSBC said that Philippines was also put an advantageous position by its growing population, which, if properly educated and trained, should help the economy generate more income over the next decades. The fact that the Philippines has relatively low income gives it much room for growth, that is favorable fundamentals will help the country maximize the room, the bank said.
The bank thus said that the Philippines was expected to post the biggest leap in terms of economic ranking over the next four decades.

1.Article #1 Why we need DepEd's K-12 program

Our government wants to implement the K-12 program for the future of each kids here which in the Philippines or country. Bring our educational standards up or increase to acknowledge us and learn more specially to our major subjects in our school namely, math and science. The program was for free for those students which studying in all public school this year 2012. It's required for those students looking for jobs or taking further studies abroad. K-12 program was very important it give us pleasure or opportunity to learn more, being independent and to communicate by other people in every countries. Many parents from other country sent their own son or daughter here in our country to studying English language.
English language is the nationwide language that we used. We need to learn that language to communicate other. The program was good on us but many parents disagree to implement because of the financial problems and lack of money or income. In terms of studies, some of the students doesn't want math and science unlike from the others it's they favorite.
Math and Science can be use in our daily life meaning to say in a right time the youth are the hope of our nation. It's not an easy way but that was from the start when we feels hard or difficult, education is the key to success and achieving own goals or dreams.

Article #2 In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse

Base on the article it tells about the massive tragedy and destruction in our environment and the victims of environmental disaster like what happened in Cagayan De Oro AND ILIGAN CITY when typoon sendong hit those cities. The people in their are not prepared because of unexpected water level rise. This cities before haven't experience flooding like this situation.
The typhoon itself is not the cause of death, not the environmental disaster ,the cause is the the humans who are destroying environment by cutting trees, illegal logging and mining. This is the cause of the disaster . Those companies behind that activities are murder because its the cause of flooded.

Article #3Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050
According to prediction of HSBC in a year of 2050 the Philippines would become a star performer and much more prominent after the few decades. The Bank knows that the top 1 biggest economic by 2050 will be the china .The 27th places of Philippines change in the higher rank and it becomes 16th places in terms of ranking economy. The prediction of hsbc can be happen by the helps of demographics and arising education standards. Every year will pass, the average growth was not same it can be change meaning to say our government had a improvement by holding our nation. In the next decades our economy growth and generate more income because of increasing population then people learned and trained. Many times people saying that the loser is the small population but sometimes it's not real. Higher level of education help us to become successful in our life.

1. In K-12 program i agree because this program can help for the education of the students. This is a good program for those students who taken this. After their graduation it is a big opportunity fir them. Compare today we can’t apply job if you are not a graduate of 4 years coarse in college. This K-12 program is a good proposal for the students who taken this. If our government give them a good job for the students who are graduate under of K-12 program. Even if they can’t proceed in college they have a opportunity to apply a job. If they will have a budget for their payments for college. After their sacrifice for studying at 6 to 7 years in elementary and 4 to 5 years in high school our government give them a good job. I hope this program can help them to rich their future and they can’t find a difficult job. This is the way for their successful in their life.
2. According to the memory of murdered environment and people hope this tragedy can’t happens again because like in the flush flood in Mindanao and landslide in Compostella Valley. Most of the people are died and suffered because of this tragedy .If they want to cut a trees They must replace it will another plants so that it able to have another trees. So for protection and safety of all the people who lived in the other places. No one in this earth want this tragedy, we can have a lesson to what happen so next time we give our environment importance from now and fore ever .Any who take the fault in our environment we would give them a punishment.
3. In the Philippines to be 16th largest economy by 2050 I agree because most of the people have a chance in other opportunity and jobs in our country ,so they not go actually in other country or place. To have a opportunity like OFW.And more Filipino people not need to be an OFW and to be separate in their family. In prediction of international bank HSBC our Philippines would become much more prominent in next year few decades It’s big help in our demographics and rising economy education standard. With the Philippines saet of leapfrog 27 places to become the 16th largest economy by 2050. In 2050 life of each individual will change, there are a lots of improvements. Every needs of the family will meet. Number of unemployed will be reduce. The economy will boom.By its growing population our economy have enough to educate and trained the students, should help the economy generate more incomes over the next decades.

In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse

Life is the greatest miracle on earth. We are so lucky because we are given a chance to live and enjoy life, but in return we are supposed to protect and respect his creatures. But why in just a “weak storm” many of his creatures were destroyed.
Philippines before have many virgin forests and a colorful environment, rich in trees, plants and different natural resources. How do this trees or plants help people? Aside from source of food plants and trees drain the excess water if a heavy rain come that sometimes causes flashfloods, landslide etc. but as the time goes by people became interested in having or taking businesses on the forest, they start logging or cutting trees, deforestation occurred and reforestation decreases. Other people became illegal loggers and start the “kaingin” process which causes a big destruction on the environment. A weak storm visit our country, flashflood occur on Mindanao areas particularly in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan city last December 17, 2011 and landslide at Campostela valley last January 5, 2012. This is the effect of destroying our environment. Many lives were gone and many properties were destroyed because of these calamities. Who needs to be blame? We humans, because of what we have done to our environment here come now the effect of it and we are now enduring the pain of loosing our natural resources.
There for I am hoping that these calamities will serve as a wake up call for everyone. Our environment are seeking for help, try to save by loving and respecting it. Encourage everyone to plant trees and protect our natural resources and we are hoping that our environment will also participate by simply being responsible in giving punishment for those who will harass our environment specially for those illegal loggers and kaingin doers. Let us all save our dying mother earth.

Why we need DepEd's K-12 program
Education is very important to everyone. Without education we will not be able to pursue our dreams in life like to become a teacher to become a doctor, police ect. We need to be alarmed that Philippines for now ranked among the lowest in Asia when it comes to key subjects like math and science. What would be the solution of this particular problem is it affordable?
K-12 is one of the most colloquial issues in the Philippines when it comes to education. K-12 is a program requiring Philippines to have 12 years pre-university education. This program is found to be the adequate period of learning under basic education and is a requirement for recognition of professionals abroad.
If they will going to ask me about this topic I will agree and disagree, why? Agree because students of the Philippines needs more knowledge and needs more time for them to really understand the different topics that teachers will going to discuss. The aim of this program will really help our country in terms of education, our level of learning will become more advance and we will easily apply abroad. Disagree because it is another problem on the part of our guardians. 10 years of entering in school is a big sacrifice on their part, they render their time just to earn money for our allowances and tuition fee. Do you think if they will introduce this to program to them they will agree? Of course not, maybe some will agree but for sure most of them will not.
This program is really good; it will lift up the level of education here in the Philippines, and a big advantage on the part of students. But, the main disadvantage of this is that it will bring another hardship on our parents.

Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050

Philippines is very rich in natural resources and intelligent leaders. It would not be impossible if our country will become the 16th largest economy by 2050. There are also beautiful tourist spot here in our country that can lift up our economy.
The bank said the Philippines would become a “star performer” in terms of its economic leap in the global rankings. HSBC based its forecasts on fundamentals such as current income per capita, rule of law, democracy, education levels and demographic change. Economic officials of the government often harp on what they call the country’s positive macroeconomic fundamentals that include stable inflation, sustained growth over the years (it grew even when the global economy shrank in 2009), stable banking and financial system, and improving fiscal position.
As a student I could help my country to become progressive by just simply following the different rules, be proud of what my country is and I will encourage the government to introduce the different tourist spot here in the Philippines and why it is more fun to live in my country. This simple things now can help and make Philippines become the 16th largest economy by 2050.

1. Why we need Deped K-12 program
- The K-12 program won’t make any difference or help improve the quality of education of young kids, But instead the additional years in schooling of children is going to be burdensome for the family, even if it is part of the free education in our country. There are many expenses that the family will have to bear, like the allowance and baon, plus transportation fare of pupils and students, if the family is far from school.

1.Why we need DepEd's K-12 program
for me Im agree in this program eventhough it is additional expenses in terms of poverty.Private schools across the country are coming to grips with the nuances of the Department of Education's K-12 Basic Education Program and its nearing implementation next school year. While most schools have long been preparing for this, some are still in a quandary, especially on the initial steps of managing the transition in terms of curriculum, budget and other resources, teaching force, clientele, and other details. However, unlike public schools, this sector of education does not seem to be totally immersed into this major change in the Philippine Education System. Nevertheless, private schools are expected to conform to the new program because, accredited or otherwise, they are guided by the DepEd curriculum. It is reassuring to know that the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), the largest organization of private schools in the country, expresses its support to the K-12 Program. Some concerns have randomly emerged during orientation sessions and fora on the K-12 Basic Education Program conducted for CEAP members and other private schools associations. These are related to curriculum enhancement and transition management.Curriculum enhancement/decongestion is the central focus of the change.

2. In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse
Mindanao is facing a lot of problems, like serious crime and a typhoon why it is happen..in politician they are fighthing..The Maguindanao massacre, also known as the Ampatuan massacre after the town where the mass graves were foundoccurred on the morning of November 23, 2009, in the town of Ampatuan in Maguindanao province, on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. While the victims were on their way to file a certificate of candidacy for Esmael Mangudadatu, vice mayor of Buluan town, they were kidnapped and brutally killed. Mangudadatu was challenging Datu Unsay mayor Andal Ampatuan, Jr., son of the incumbent Maguindanao governor Andal Ampatuan, Sr., in the forthcoming Maguindanao gubernatorial election. The Ampatuans had been in control of Maguindanao since 2001. Andal Ampatuan, Sr. came first into prominence when President Corazon Aquino appointed him as officer-in-charge of Maganoy (now Shariff Aguak) in 1986 right after the People Power Revolution.

3. Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050
Philippine become a leapfrog in 2050 YES because we have our hero who still fght for our country. If the Philippines would maintain this self-caused underperformance than that will happen. From all the emerging countries now, the Philippines is the only one which actually has no reason to be in such a miserable state. A practical solution to reducing unemployment and poverty is still found in Entrepreneurship. We must teach our children the value of having a business that will create more jobs and opportunities. Our K12 school system must be geared towards procuding more Entrepreneurs rather than producing employees! We should try our best to follow Germany's model. Their economic standing now speaks for itself. And then some here complain about the "badmouthing" of this country. Well, that is all our fault if we have such a lousy performance given all the above chances. The next 10 years are crucial!

1.Why we need DEPED's K-12 Program
* For me it is big opportunities and struggles faces to this kind of progam. We have good advantage but, also a disadvantages. First advantage we know that the quality of our education were down. Many of the youth did not give good appreciation and importance our education. If the goverment implement this kind of rules and culture of education. Our education will due to rich our economy as well.Second advantage if we see at the future the youth were professionally in the future.Third is
disadvantage, for me as of now, as also a student, if the government implement this kind of education many of youth were stop in studying. The reason is poverty. The best solutions for me is, give the government attentions and budgets much the education. Its better to the program we implement.
Recently in the news, we've heard about the Department of Education's plan to add years in our grade school and high school curriculum. Well, adding years to the national education system is one way of looking at the DepEd's future plan to maintain our global competitiveness. Or, we could slash the least productive subjects.
The problem is, everyone doesn't have cable service. So like I said, to make up for more time and more globally-related learning, slash subjects that would slow down a child's or a teenager's progress. Leave all the learning on those subjects to those who really wants to specialize on them. And let's call them musicians, artists, and Physical Instructors. So to President Noynoy Aquino and/or the DepEd head: If you're reading/you have read this, I suggest you consider my suggestions. Let's not be sentimental about the subjects that you and I both know are of no help to our future generation. Anyway president noynoy, you slashed the Head of Pag ASA as easy as that even though he served loyally for 26 years. You could slash the uncompetitive subjects as easy as that as well. Please do consider. It would be a win-win situation for both the government and for parents and students alike. It is only my opinion its up to the government its approves and implement.
2.In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people:environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse?
*In the memory of people in Mindanao.Sendong
is one of the severe difficulties they were faces.Thousands of people was death. Many of their victims were innocence to that cases. Some people in Mindanao lived their life in simply way.But some of them were worst.He/She did not know what are the effects of their illegal logging, because of that, many lives sacrifices, many of families gives mark on his/her mined.
Now a days, all people on this world, hoping that know their sin and fault and get values to this experiences. Now be contented and always be know the bad effects and stop the "illegal doer".Dont be wait that our world were gone.

1. Why we need DepEd's K-12 program
For me i will agree in this program we have a lot of sources that we needed in what we call studying many high tech materials that can be used in supporting difficulties regarding to study.but according to the government we also needed an extra year in elementary and high school to have much better new ideas and have broad min. Yes our country is better in English dialect rather than other country.Best in math and science subject for now Im in college Im agree in what we call k-12deped program.i have my nephew that will encounter k-12 no bad thing in this program it is also an advantage to all student they will gain more knowledge even though they need to spend more time in studying.grade 7 in elementary yes it is really hard and difficult to accomplish but then it is their pleasure in the end.5th year in high school if you finish it you will gain more knowledge it is hard also but if you finish your elementary why in high school?if all children know that education is only the thing that any person cant stole, education that always at our mind.even we get older.this program help students spend their time in studying rather than to other activities. For me if i have given a chance to return or go back to elementary and high school i will so much agree, because i know there's no wrong in this program. If people think that they don't have money to provide other educational expenses then we have many public school that is provided by the government, the only thing that their parent should do is their part being a parent.they need to give their responsibilities and guidance to their children. We should be intelligent so our country still in our hand..If we approve this program to be done Iam 100% sure that it will and give us a better future.

1. In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse
I will simply explain why this happen in Mindanao a part of Philippines.I think people in this are forget our one and only creator.thay are fighting for power by the government many people die..because of the two parties that are involved in politician.many innocent people also part in this crime..how sad they are hit by the typhoon sendong.. many people die and suffer and some of this people is innocent. Heavy rains caused flood waters to rise one meter (3 feet) high in less than an hour The devastation was so unexpected in various areas in Mindanao, mainly because this island is seldom hit by such a typhoon. In fact, based on experience But I digress. Sendong hit the islands on Friday evening, catching the residents unaware when the flood waters came down from the mountains early Saturday morning. The flood and the landslides were so unexpected that they barely had time to run for their lives, let alone prepare for this calamity.our creator teach us to be faithful why we experience this we ignore him and forget him.

3 Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050
Nice to hear this if this will happen I know we are in the powerful country indeed, by the way Indonesia does not need to wait until 2050 to be be in
they already there now. This is a country
that have a lot of similarity with RP,but with bigger problem ,bigger
challenges and against all the odds they made it.
They made it because the president there didn't focus and blame on the wrongdoings of the respective past administrations but focused on the national development in this case. hsbc should have a short-term investment in the Philippines and making such wild speculation for their investment to grow. more than 25 years since EDSA revolution and still we are the laggard of Asia.

1. WHY WE NEED DEPED’S K-12 PROGRAM

For me, I am not agree about the K-12 program because, why they need to add another year for elementary and high school? Which is as of now, some of the students are not willing to study, yes! They has a point about K-12 program, but they need to think more If the students or the parents of the students is afford to pay tuition fees which is as we all know, the country now is suffering from poverty which is some of the students are no enough money to enter to school and to supply their needs in school. Last semester we interviewed some of the out of school youth and some of them says that they are old enough to enter to school because some of them are already 23 years old and they are still in the high school level, and if ever that the Ched agreed about K-12 program, how old are they before they graduate in high school and how old they are before they entered in college? It takes more than a year. And also some of them say that, because of poverty they stopped schooling, so that if the Ched approved again the K-12 program, I think there is no possibility for them to encourage them selves to go to school again. I think they need to do is to listen to the people surrounds them. And also to know the side of the people, because maybe there are some who agree and also there are some who disagree.

K-12 programs also a point because there are some explanations that are possible to happen, yes! Maybe they have encouragement but if we think further, look at the economy now? There are people who suffered from poverty and yet, they still want to add another year? There are people who want to finish their studies as soon as possible because they want to help their parents; they want to have a better life, and to be successful someday. But, how they can achieve it if this K-12 program wants to add another year? Do you think there is possibility that our country now is to be well known? I think no, because there are some students who became lazy to go to school. I think it is not about number of years in schooling; it is all about, the quality of education and also the willingness of the students to finish their studies and also on how they look to their goals and dreams in life.

Not only the students but also to the teachers on how they teach their students on the way that the students can easily participate in class.

“Every people have a power to teach but it depends to the listeners if they want to listen and analyze the situation.”

2. IN MURDERED ENVIRONMENT, IN MEMORY OF THTE MURDERED PEOPLE: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse

The disaster that happened in Northern Mindanao was a shocking revenge for us because last December 17, 2011 they was hited by a typhoon Sendong which is there are a lot of people who died and the others are missing, at that time, we are preparing for our Christmas party that will be held at December 28, 2011 at our Church “Ma. Reyna ng mga Apostoles Parish” but our Parish priest Fr. Betbet Rabonsa dismissed our Christmas party, even though we are still celebrating, or theme “Whiye Chrismas” was turned in “Pasko tungo sa kagayan” our Parish priest change our theme because of what had happened in Mindanao.
And I think the people also the reason why does it happen because they are continuing cutting trees just to earn money without thinking the bad sides of it. This kind of tragedy that had happened in Mindanao is a big open mind to us because, we feel that if that may happen to us, we know that it was so hard for us to survive and also to turned back our necessities that had lost
That tragedy happened in Mindanao is so scary because according to news, there are a lot of people who died. Now, there is news on television, they said that the Metro Manila will be hitted by an earthquake that takes in 9 degree, the people in Taguig wish that it wont happen.
The tragedy that had happened, what is happening, and what will happened in the future is a big question to all Filipinos, maybe it is the way for us to suffer because there are lot of people who did not know God, and they leave God to their lives, maybe it is the way of God for us to pay our sins to our neighbors, friends, family and also to him.
I suggest to all that don’t wait the end of the world before we change, because maybe if we don’t change as early as possible ……..

1. Why we need DepEd's K-12 Program?
During 60's and 70's, Philippines was known as a premier educational destination. We are also an English speaking nation and some parents from other countries send their children to study in our country. The author points out what was going on our educational status now a days. From being the choice of educational country to the last choice. Why does our high school graduates and even the college students cant find a decent job?
There are so many questions that includes the educational quality of our country. With all these problems and questions, Department of Education is trying to correct the situation and bring our educational standards up to par with global standards through K-12 program which will be implimented in phases beginning with the school year 2012-13.
The K-12 program aims to be catch-up for the Philippines, because all we know that most other countries have 12 years of pre-university education.according to DEPed, "a 12 year program is found to be the adequate period for learning under basic education and is a requirement for recognition of the professionals abroad." the k-12 system consists of this basic education:
1-2 years in kindergarten, 6-7 years of elementary, and 4 years in high school.
according to Sec. Luistro, critical thinking is going to be the key in the k to 12 programs. for those aiming for technical vocational courses TESDA and CHED pursue to equipped higher education k-12 will be introduced slowly, initially, the new curriculum will be introduced only in grade 1 to grade 7. every school year there after, another level would introduced the new curriculum. so by 2017-18,all levels would already be teaching the new curriculum. Even though there are many logical realignment of our educational system to stay competitive in the force worldwide,K-12 has met with persistence.

2.In memory of the murdered environment, In memory of the murdered people: Environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse:
We all know that last December 17,2011 and January 5,2012, Mindanao has been ravaged by the tropical storm Sendong. It is said that the real reason of this incident is the illegal logging and mining and even the legal logging that caused the deaths of thousands and the destruction of not only the environment but also the people. By the investigation, the goverment prompted, they learned that thousands of cuts logs are reason of this destruction where in the logging companies of Makati are traced. 53% of the Philippines land area is a forest land that is playing a vital role in the development of our country but had deflected due to deforestation in late 1980's. The ineffectiveness of our forest land and it's empowerment causes the increasing deforestation in the Philippines. Even though some of the logging companies had been banned, it's still able to operate in the Philippines. Another fact is even if the government says that they are trying to investigate this issue, why is there another companies that continues their operation? Why did they allow this said companies to drill holes in the indigenous peoples properties? Specifically in Compostela Valley, where in 20 people and about 100 were still missing? It's because of the mining operation for gold which cause landslide that kills them. The wrath of nature is its own way of crying as she had been continuously murdered and the deaths of thousands of people can never be just considered as part of the collateral damage.

1. K-12 Education Plan becomes successful, then the Philippine education system can become more competitive among other countries countries around the world. Though there are still some problems that the government needs to solve before they can successfully implement the plan. The proposed program is good but it still won't work if the needed elements to make it work isn't present.
Such elements includes the addressed problems mentioned above, especially the number of public school classrooms plus the adequate supply of classroom chairs, books, etc. If the government could allot a bigger budget to educational needs, then we could be one-step ahead towards the success of the K-12 program.
Furthermore, parents (especially those who belongs in the poor sector) should be properly informed and motivated of the advantages of the K-12 Education Plan. This is very important since parents plays a major role in providing the child's school allowances, supplies, and fees for other school projects and activities. Add to that the support of parents towards their children in terms of guidance and teaching.
Once this succeeds, it is best hoped that Filipino students would be more literate, skilled, and competitive to be able to find jobs more easily and contribute to the country's pride as well as the country's economy.
2. The tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many areas of Northern Mindanao during the flashfloods that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City last December 17, 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012 are more than enough of a wake up call for everyone. The government may have responded through different reliefs and aids for the victims but still a very vital reality had been bypassed. The hows and whys of the people are answered through a generic explanation safe enough to justify the incident. It is because of the tropical storm Sendong that passes through the area of Mindanao with heavy rain-falls and the unexpected rise of the water levels in the rivers-great enough to consume all the houses near the river banks, created new pathways and submerged deep the areas that is before haven’t experienced flooding. Therefore, it was an unexpected fate that caught everybody unprepared. he deaths of thousands and the destruction of people prompted the government to investigate why such a “weak storm” had caused massive destruction on the lives and properties of the people. Philippines according to the 1995 Philippine Forestry Statistics comprise a land area of 30 million ha., wherein 53% is a forest land. Forestry had played a vital role in the socio economic development of the country but due to deforestation in late 1980s, it had depleted. The increasing deforestation in the Philippines was attributed to the ineffectiveness of our forest laws and its enforcements.

3. Philippines to leapfrog to be 16th largest economy by 2050
According to HSBC, the Philippines would become a star performer in terms of its economic leapfrog in the global ranking such as the fundamentals of current income per capita, rule of law , democracy, and its education and demographic change.
By 2050, from 27th place, Philippines would become the 16th largest economy. In this prediction, Philippines is said to be advance on its macroeconomics fundamentals that includes stable inflation , sustained growth over the years and improving fiscal position.
Another advantage of the Philippines to leapfrog in 2050 is the fact that our population will help in increasing our economic income. If the population that includes a properly trained and educated individuals, it will surely generate our economy over the next decades. The Philippines was expected to post the biggest leap in terms of economic ranking over the next four decades.
The initial years of development could be described as copy-and-paste growth as countries open themselves up and adapt to the worlds existing technologies. Once this growth is complete, many economies struggle and get stuck in what is often known as the middle-income trap.

yes all this was truly happen. Murdered environment is the increasing deforestation in the Philippines. Illegal loggers are one of the destroyer of our forest. What will be happen to our forest if it is still functioning? Do we have a right to stop this? Of course yes, by giving warning to them.
Murdered people are the deaths of thousands of people cause of disaster like SENDONG. It is also the cause of logging, because of this many people , thousands of houses and properties are destroyed. The realization of what happen in the mindanao is the best warning for us. We are still nervous what are the next disasters are coming. Who is to blame for what happens? Of course the people/us because we are destroying our own natural resources. The solution still from us but government must lead on this problem. They have responsibilities to protect our natural resources.

1. Why we need DepEd’s K-12 program
This K12 program is one of the most discuss topic in the country today because it can improve the educational standards of the children and students of the country. There are lots of issues about the fact that we are an English speaking nation and that other countries used to send their children to our country in the 60’s and 70’s to study since the Philippines was a premier educational destination. But nowadays, we get the country from the country of educational choice to last place. Our students are now ranking in the lowest in Asia.
DepEd is just trying to correct the situation and bring our educational standards up to par with global standards through this K-12 program. This K-12 program aims to be a catch up for the Philippines seeing that other countries already have 12 years of pre- university education. We cannot continue to insist into our current 10 year program if some of our graduates are looking to working or taking further their studies abroad.
According to DepEd,”A 12-year program is found to be the adequate period for learning under basic education and is a requirement for recognition of professionals abroad. Critical thinking is going be the key in the k-12 program. The acquisition and mastery of lifelong skill will become the focus of teaching compared to the present congested curriculum which compresses 12 years of education to 10.
The youth and the parents themselves have different issues in this program. First, the additional of two years added cost to the parents. Second, DepEd lack resources such as classrooms and teachers. This is some of the issues, but the DepEd said that, this will help the students and children to be well trained and will acquire more skills that qualify them for more professional and better jobs.
DepED also says that they will provide classrooms, teachers and instructional materials. This will be done by the help of the local governments, private partners and donor agencies.

2.IN MEMORY OF THE MURDERED ENVIRONMENT, IN MEMORY OF THE MURDERED PEOPLE: ENVIRONMENT DESTRUCTION IN MINDANAO AS ITS WORSE

The people of the Northern Mindanao didn't expect this tragedy that has happened to them.Cagayan de Oro and Iligan city was hit during the flash flood last December 17 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan Cmpostella valley last January 2012. This are more than enough of a make up call for everyone. this unexpected suffering is because of the tropical storm Sendong with heavy rains that cause flooding on the different areas of Mindanao.
in this situation many of our indigenous people died and the others are still missing.the government arouses and investigate why such a weak storm had caused massive destruction to the lives and the property of the people. From the cuts logs they had seen along the seashore the government officials is starting to pin point on who is to be held responsible to this incident, whose term and whose administration allowed the logging operations of logging companies.
The caused of this tragedy are the increasing deforestation and mining in the Philippines and the areas of the Mindanao particularly in the area of Caraga. together with the Mt.Diwata, Compostela Valley, recently has killed more than 20 people and 100 are still missing, caused by the mining operations for gold.
If we continue in destroying our nature ,this tragedy has a possibility to happen again. we should be careful to our surroundings so that this incident will not be repeated in the following generations.
hopefully to this who are not yet experiencing this kind of tragedy,i hope this would act a learning for you and to everyone.lastly we should always be prepared on the disaster or whatever circumstances in our life that bring us to a worse suffering.

3.Philippines to leapfrog to be 16th largest economy by 2050.

In the next few decades, the Philippines is one of the most emerging enemies that would become more prominent by the help of demographics, and rising education standards. According to a particular prediction of international bank of HSBC, the Philippines set to leapfrog 27 places to become the 16th largest economy by 2050.
The world in 2050, looks set to deliver very strong rates of growth, but are not in the developed world. The forecast is based on the fundamentals such as current income per capita, rule of law, democracy, education levels and demographic change.
HSBC said, the Philippines breaking down the average growth forecast and would likely grow by 8.4 percent from 2010-2020, by 7.3 percent from 2020-2030 and by 6.6 percent form 2030-2040 and by 5.8 percent from 2040-2050.
The Philippines was also put at an advantageous position by its growing population, which if properly educated and trained, should help the economy generate more income over the next decades. The advantage of the Philippines was it favorable macroeconomic fundamentals and improving governance. This fundamentals discussed is the recipe for growth in the country. The economies should also deliver a highest growth of income per capita in order to catch up with the similar fundamentals.
As the bank said, the Philippine s was expected to post to biggest leap in terms of economic ranking over the next four decades, the Philippines also looks set for a multi-decade win of strength growth.

1.Why we need DEPED's k-12 program

The k 12 program seeks to level philippine education with the rest of the world.with 12 years of basic schooling a global standard.it may be viewed as aditional cost right now but you have to look at the long run,how it would improve the value of a student after graduation.
the goverment's flagship education program that would extend the basic education cycle two years seems to be greated toward supplying.

the college editors guild of the philipines said the department of education's DEPED'S K12 kindergarten to 12 program, wich would add two years of senior high school to the current 10 year education cycle, may diminish-rather than boost-the qualification of the graduates.the objective of k12 is to produce semi skilled workers as cheap labor for the multinational corporations to exploit.with the inequities in terms of economic status, majority of the people are most willing to enter into jobs no matter how dangerous or short-lived.the k12 program is a reform plan that would institutionalize public sChool kindergarten for better preparation of early learners, decongest the elementary and high school curriculums and introduce two high shool levels for specialized training in vocational skills, agriculture, sports, music and the arts among other employable skills.the program seeks to bring philippine education up to wold level, which has 12 years of basic schooling as a global standard the deped envision the program to give high school graduates.

with k 12 filipino students would finish high school at the employable age of 18the new curriculom currently in the works also focuses on the use of the mother tongue in early grades instruction-the first time the system would be institutionlized in the public schools but philippine education had become oriented toward developing manpower for other nation rather than honing professionals for the country.saying that k12 was an overrated solution to the poor state of philippine educations. with the proper qualification and recognized certifcation,

they would be less prone to exploitative employment practices their better preparation for collge will give them more expertise, putting them in a position to exact better compensation, they will also have better skill and preparation to not just limit their future to employment options but to actually start their own enterprises whem they graduate at the age of 18.

1.) we need k12 program because is very important program although to our student that have not enough money to continue their study..for my essay about in k12 program of Dep ed it is a good idea for us because more student have not enough money to continue their study in college. but if the k12 program be a successful the six year in elementary become seven and the 4 years in high school become 5 years. but the good of this ideas is help student to advanced their skill and help the student to apply their skill in work. more students today cannot finish their study in college but more student look for a job although he or she a graduate only in high school but their skill is not enough to help them. but because of the k12 program, more teacher can help their student to have a advantage skill that can help student to apply in to work.like cooking, baking, or technological skill. but not at all agree to this program because their reason they have a long studying how the student want to continue their study in college...but if they understand what the purpose of this program we can say agree...for my own experience, when i'm high school student i have a subject we called that T.L.E then my t.l.e is about on home economic, and drafting then when i'm fourth year high school it become accounting,, so it mean when i'm high school i have a experience how to manage the accounting subject....so its mean if the k12 program be successful why they dont do focus the student on this subject the whole year that they add why they use to focus the student in one subject.. so it mean if the student graduate in high school they have an advantages skill to this work and they can apply to their daily life,, build their own business or look for a job that connected to this subject or work.

2.)The tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many areas of Northern Mindanao during the flashfloods that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City last December 17, 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012 are more than enough of a wake up call for everyone. Therefore, it was an unexpected fate that caught everybody unprepared. for me the effect murdered to our countryman in mindanao is very cruel for us.. as a filipino a feel hoe much hurt them because like them my family know how the feeling to effect the typhoon.. and to the young student there that studying but their not continue their study because of effect of typhoon their school.. because of that i feel worried for their education that slowly exhausted and wasted because of the one typhoon that they never expecting.

1. k-12 DEPed program
why we need k-12 program in our new education ? DEPed stated that, our country is the last with 10 years pre-university program, country in Asia and as we can see we are now ranked lowest in Asia when it comes to key subject math and science, and more reasonable reason.
As we can see in news this program is hard for the poor family because for them they will give additional year of costing the studies of their children (student) but as what I had read a moment ago that the deped stated that we or our parents shouldn’t look at the short term, instead we should look for the future of our children (long term) for them to get a good paying job in their working years; and the students will be better trained and they will also acquire because of this new educational program.
Based on my opinion, yes this new program will add cost for the parents for their children but are we going to exchange money for the better education of our children? I don’t think so, and we have to think the best for them in the future.
Here are the issues that I had read, that our government will face if this program already implement: Issue # 1: Additional 2 years = added cost to parents, Issue # 2: DepEd lacks resources such as classrooms and teachers and last Issue # 3: Some parents can’t wait to have their children start working, but our government have a solution regarding this issues and it will little by little introduced in all schools all over our country.
As an ending this program will caused better education in every individual, and more acquire skills and if that happen we can make our future a good one in terms of education.

2. In memory of the murdered environment, a memory of the murdered people: environment destruction in Mindanao at its worse
Last dec.17,2011 many areas in Mindanao hit flashfloods and landslide in pantukan compostella valley last January 5,2011 are more than a wake up call for everyone, the government give the relief goods and aids for the victims of calamity yet it was still a vital reality had been by passed. The questions in mind of the people was answered through the storm sending. And because of those calamity that came, people realized that always expect the unexpected and be prepared at all times for you to survive and you can do also help other, whatever happens.
A disaster is the most unexpected killings that might come into our life.
A disaster, this is caused by the “weak storm” that kills many people and destroy millions of properties, livelihood and etc,. a disaster was made by a man related to nature or to our environment, because of our irresponsible care for our nature, the loggings of many trees, that may caused a landslide and a flashfloods.
Murder, our country is said to be a forestry because 53% of our land are is a forest land, and forestry, played a vital or important role in our socio-economic development, but due to deforestation, late 1980’s, it had depleted. Because of the ineffectiveness of laws and enforcements for our forest, the deforestations increased, that’s why some of total ban logging companies can still operates. The issues in lanao about loggings can never be an isolated case, in fact almost provinces in Mindanao can still do the same. Because of those illegal mining made, in mt. diwata, a compostella valley which a number of mining operation for gold recently has a landslide which kills 20 miners and 100 are still missing. What will be a lesson for this? We should take care and give importance and love to our nature, and we have to think million times before we made a decision that might cause disaster or calamity like: flashfloods and landslide. Or a decision that we surely know the negative effect to our nature and to our selves.

3. Philippines to leapfrog to be 16th largest economy by 2050
When the First time I hear this news came from our professor Mr. Raquel I was really shock because I can’t imagine that this is possible to happen in the near future, but I thought to myself “I should’ve trust to my countrymen.”.
We all now that Our country, is now handle in the hand of pres. Aquino from the former president Arroyo, we all know what was our country’s economy’s stability Arroyo’s presidential, and how she handled money of the Philippines, the security of people either amateur or foreign, for me during Arroyo’s presidential our economy break down, because of the corruption done by our government under GMA. I hope that our new president which is “noynoy”, well be the one who will start a new chapter for our country, and wish that he will be the one as a pioneer to stop and to fight against corruption for our country’s development.
I think that, as what I had written in article entitled “Philippines to leapfrog to be 16th largest economy by 2050” this will only came true if our government will manage the country in a good and nice way for all of its people. It stated there that Philippines is among emerging economy that would become a “star performer” in terms of its economic leap in the global rankings and, it was also put at an advantageous position by its growing population, which, if properly educated and trained, should help the economy generate more income over the next decades.
In my opinion, I’m happy to read and to know about this good news came from the international bank “HSBC”, and I am hopeful to achieve my dreams because I know that it will be useful in coming 4 decades and excited to see and to live in the coming year 2050.

answer:

1.) I am really wondering of our education procees as of now that I am in my freshmen of my tertiary level . as time goes by there are many changes that enlightened little by little my minds through the openness of reality . Reality that we have to pursue our studies so that we can able to support most especially the needs of ourselves , to help our family and become a people who have role in our society .To become a professional indeed ,but based on my observation for those who are a graduate of any courses are having an experience for being unemployed .Is this just of being a no education adaption or being by government.

Remainescing back with my elementary grades , my parents are very responsible with regards to our education . I cant just have imagine that they wake-up early just prepare our thing ,”baon” and send us to school . My ears are seem to close by hearing words that came to my parents that we have to study hard for our future . in that matter I am thinking now that they have to be worth about by making our studies good or even an average one . but is this just enough for them? To finish our studies alone? To have a job for our future?

How can we meet our ambition in life by just studying alone ? Otherwise I cant understand what a professional is all about ? Though you have your diploma and became a degree holder you are professional ? In what particular aspect? That’s why I cant comprehend on what and who is a professional .

For me I did not agree of k-12 program because the problem is with in us . there are some factors to be studied to become a globally competitive country with regards to our education here in the Philippines .factors that help to build a strong nation by implemting and promoting our education stabilized one . id\ do believe that a two year additional in our curriculum does not change our educational standing that accordance to the research it got almost a lower rank compared among other countries .Not unless our constitution or legislator make a quick and credible instrument that give satisfied to our needs especially with regards to our education .I must have to enumerate some factors that contributes our education unuseful now a day.

HOME-I do believe that a home is the foundation of a person by molding to become a human in the society .we heard a new words and adapt new action from our family that makes our behavior development.

SCHOOL-my age came that I need to have my first grader ,generally to finish my study from kinder, preparatory primary, secondary and tertiary. How and where can I have to fulfill all of these? Of course in school.

ENVIRONMENT-although environment has a great influence with regards to our behavior , I consider that home and school has a big contribution in studies as our main source of environment as well as my characters.

3.)in my opinion, yes if the government can do something and work together as a whole ,but it is not only depend on what and how they work, it also rely on us , as the ordinary people in the society .

We can also help in many ways like in imprasing the kinds of education that we have right now . Focus more on the three major subject SCIENCE, ENGLISH, MATH. Early education or early learning is an advantage especially for the young generation.

Second is to have more open jobs for everyone , in that way the government can collect some finance more project to enhance our economy . third is to advertise more some of our tourist spot. Redisconcern more . I believe that our country is one of the best , there are still so many places that were not seen yet I think this is the time to find and be proud of , so that we can attract more tourist to come to our country .lets not wait the year 2050 if we can make it ahead of time.

Lastly our country must have a good leader to govern his people .

I am agree, that we need Deed’s K-12 program if this ideas to help and developed the knowledge, skills and also ability the student to teach English language.
And I think, it’s an apportune time to implement the program this year. Under this program our student will graduates at 18yrs.old and become more knowledgeable, equipped and responsible to choose their prepared career compared to a 16yrs.old,whos is still prone to shift from one course to another course because
Their young age.

2.It's very sad the memory of the Mindanao
because of landslide, damage of invironment, and so on.And also they provide have murdered our people and they will continue to murder our future unless we the people of Mindanao and other parts of the country should act upon this by exposing the rotten system that brought catastrophe on the lives of the majority poor victims.

3.The Philippines was likely to post an average growth of 7 percent in the next 40 years. And philippines was also put at an advantageous position by its growing population, which, if properly educated and trained, should help the economy generate more income over the next decades. To become highest growth in income, you need provide kindness in country so that the one inportant.

3. PHILIPPINES TO LEAPFROG TO BE THE 16TH LARGEST ECONOMY BY 2050
♥it is a big pleasure for us to be the rank 16 in the next 4decade because as we all know, the Philippines now is so poor country in terms of basic need and also the income of the citizens living here. maybe the leapfrog had a big point if the government officials in the Philippines is being responsible to their work and also if they are not corrupt because the economy of the Philippines is being low because of those corrupt officials, maybe for them it is good because doing that thing will help them but don’t they think about what will happen in the Philippines if they are continue doing that thing? Don’t they think about what happen to the people if their salary per month is decreasing because of them?
i wish that the next 4 decade, the Philippines is being more popular in terms of economic growth like the leapfrog said, because it is a time for us to prove that the Philippines had a lot of resources that we take and also to prove that the poor country has a possibility to grow if they are willing to help their own country

To the government
►do not depend to the people living in the Philippines and also don’t get the money of the people because they are working just to live their families and yet the government did not think of it? What happen to the people that are trying hard to work and still they take the rights of them? They need to think and to decide what the best is for us...

1.Why we need DepEd's K-12 program
*the k-12 program is the program that will be added to the following school year 2012-2013.this program was aiming for the betterment of the students. The DEPed was trying to bring our educational standard through the k-12 program.
K-12 program is a system that aims for all graduates will not looking nor taking a work abroad. We need the k-12 program by helping us to know something for the betterment of our future especially to our Educational standards, and it will help us to have the higher rank than before in math and science that always ranked at the bottom.
Our country was an Educational destination and our country was still holding with a pride that we are an English-speaking nation in the year 60s and 70s the other Asian countries sends their children to the Philippines just for the educational state.

2.In memory of the murdered environment, in memory of the murdered people: environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse
*the landslide in Pantukan Compostela valley last january5, 2012 and last December 17,2011 the flashflood that hit Cagayan de Oro and Iligan city, was one of the environmental disaster that telling us we must take the cares for our environment especially in our natural resources. The generically explanation for the “how’s” and “whys” of the people is not really enough to have a preparation if it will happen again, because for me without taking care of our natural resources many lives will fade away again and again also many obligation of the government will be added.
The weak storm that caused of thousands of depths, the force of sending that was caused of killing to many lives and caused of destroyed properties during the flash flood.
The cause of flashflood was the investigation of the government to investigate why such a weak storm had caused an massive destruction.

3. Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050.

1.The k-12 program introduced by the Department of Education aims to develop a high level quality of education here in the Philippines. It is the caused by the present state of quality standard of education in our country. Because of some instances like lack of school facilities, like classrooms and chairs, teachers migrating to other countries for a larger amount of salary are some of the factors that affect to our educations. By these instances we continue or its hard for us to gain more knowledge and learn better. This K-12 program by DepEd’s is found to add several school years to a normal school year spended. The K-12 program intension is good for us student because it could help us to develop and perform our skill and ability well and better than we could. By introducing this program, the government is looking forward that the student who undergo with this will be better, well educated individuals .A long time of studying, a better learning gain. This will bring us to success for a better life and future.
But no matter how good the intension of this program by the DepEd’s, many Filipino’s whom are citizens of the Philippines still not convince. It is because of some factors like poverty w/c one of the most problems of individuals especially for parents now about this program. Because if 10 years of compulsory educations, they felt hard to pursue their children’s education, what about more for 12? They are thinking, where will they get source of financial assistance if the parents income is just enough for their everyday expenses or sometimes not?
But for me, I big to disagree with this program. Although I know that’s its good for the student, I don’t believe that adding school year is the last way to have a high standard quality of education. Maybe because I believe that there are some ways also that would help us to gain this aim. Like why not trained the teachers will whom are going to teach the student? Why not focus first on school equipments or facilities that the students will going to need in studying? How would be the student learn well if there are more than 50 students in one classroom, with less than 50 chairs? How will they perform experiment if they are lack of instrument? How would be the students learn well if the teachers couldn’t teach well? These are some factors that runs on my mind that I think is the government. Should prioritize, and one more thing is, will the student be agree to have a longer years in studying? I believe that is not based on how long you study. It is based on how you gain knowledge on what you have learned.

In article #2,

The tragedy that had ravaged the areas in many areas of northern Mindanao during the flash flood that hit Cagayan de Oro And Illigan City last Dec. 17,2011, and the landslide in Pantukan Compostela Valley lat Jan.5 2012, that we have seen through news is enough to wake us, and gave us attention to our environment. Many hundreds of people are lying death in shores, with muddy body, and I think until now, there is still a lots of missing persons.

Rescuers, police, army's, are joined force to help the victims of tragedy. Government give different relief goods, aids for the damage victims. Many volunteers from different schools, departments, place, are volunteered to help the victims. After all it wasn't enough some of the victims got sick, because of uncleaned, unwashed clothes, then gotten sick from others. Then some of them still want to stay to their homes even there still have a flood. Then in other evacuation center, there's a shortage of foods, and others relief, so the result of it is quarreling, but some Senator like Sen.Ramon Revilla Sr. came there to give them some goods.

By he way, where does the flash flood came from?. Well according to the article it is because of logging and mining operations. then the typhoon Sendong joined with have a heavy rain falls, then a combination of increasing of water level.

Also the task force Sendong was created, to investigate the presences of thousands of cut logs along the shores of Illigan city, that cause to kill many people , destroy thousands of homes, and properties. The logs are trace to come from a Makati based logging company in manila . Now the government officials detecting who are held to be responsible to this incident.

“The most potent recipe for growth is a country that scores highly on the fundamentals discussed but currently has low income per capita. These economies should deliver the highest growth in income per capita as they ‘catch up’ with those with similar fundamentals,” HSBC said.
The losers are the small population, aging economies of Europe,” added the bank, which said the demographics in much of Europe underscored concerns about the debt problems faced by many of the continent’s governments.
If sufficiently open to modern technology, developing countries could enjoy many years of robust GDP growth although they could struggle for growth drivers once they have adapted to technological advances,
HSBC said.
“The initial years of development could be described as ‘copy-and-paste’ growth, as countries open themselves up and adapt to the world’s existing technologies. Once the ‘copy-and-paste’ growth is complete … many economies struggle and get stuck in what is often known as the middle-income trap.

1. The enhanced of K-12 program or the Department of Education proposal to overhaul the basic and the secondary education curriculum by adding two more
years to the system is arguably one of the most drastic and controversial program of the Aquino administration. The program is proposed to start in school year 2012-2013 for Grade 1 and first year high school students with the target of full implementation by S.Y 2018-2019.Department of Education is trying to correct the situation and bring our educational standards up to par with global standards through the K-12 program which will be implemented phases beginning with school year 2012-2013.The K-12 program aims to be a catch up for the Philippines, seeing the other countries already have 12 years of pre-university education.
The K-12 program is added a cost to our parents. In our generation today, most of the families have a financial crisis,so it is hard to our parents. They need to work harder because its their responsibilities to send their children in school. This K-12 program can help to the students more knowledgeable. And the good side of this K-12 program is that the children will better trained and will acquire more skills the qualify them for more professional and better jobs in the future.Department of Education says it increased budget as well as support from the Local Government. They also claim they have enough time to provide additional classrooms, teachers and instructional materials. We are hoping that the government will give comfortable rooms, books, chairs, etc. to the students for them to be encourage to go to school everyday.

2. In memory of murdered environment, in memory of murdered people, environmental destruction in Mindanao at its worse. The tragedy that ravages in many areas of Northern Mindanao during the flash-floods that hit Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City last December 17, 2011 and the landslide in Pantukan, Compostela Valley last January 5, 2012, are more than enough of a wake-up call of everyone. Then storm Sendong that passes through the area of Mindanao with heavy rainfalls and the unexpected rise of the water levels in the rivers-great enough to consume all houses near the Riverbanks.
A disaster that cause the deaths of thousands of people. The logs had cause the killing of many people and destroyed thousands of houses and properties during the flash-flood. The government officials are starting to pinpoint on who is to be held responsible to this incident. Whose term and whose administration allowed the logging operations of logging companies. The issue of logging in Lanao provinces can never be an isolated case, in fact, all of the provinces in Mindanao have logging and mining operations. In Mt. Diwata, Compostela Valley, have a number of mining operations of gold. It is a lesson to us that we need to take care of our mother Earth and also our nature. Our nature is our life; so we need to love and take care of it. If illegal logging and mining will continue, what will happen to the next generation? We should stop cutting trees, and plant instead. So stop illegal and mining to much gold.

* Why we need DepEd's K-12 program

Nothing wrong with this program because this is for the sake of our country for having a good education. All of us are focus to our education so that the official of our government porsue this program ,this program helps our country to be more specialist in the field of education .we all know that our country is concern about education specially our beloved parents, our country is on line of poverty nothing wrong if the official of our government make a move to improved our educational standards they make a way that philippines will be improved together with the population of it and the incoming population.
As a Filipino citizen i want more progress for the philipines because i want to have a my next generation to have a good standards interms of education and having more skills. Education is for all and we need to give some efforts to achive good education for all of us , most of us are late interms of education . I dont down our country but many student could not got the food education because of their faults their parents sent them to a good school but they ruin their studies. So even if we increase the years of education to our country if there is many student not interested to study hard everything is useless for me good education is not for the years of education its depend for the who accept the good education.
Yes! most pilipino people are good to use english but base on the article we poor in the subject of math and science ,Why because more people in the philippines are focus in the things that they really know. Math and science are one our major subject in the school, why we are not focus? to that subject simple because many student could not really interested to learn about it. its sad to say that im not good in subject of math because for its really hard but ill try my best to learn about it .
Another thing is why cant our high school graduates now land in decent jobs? because many company hired professionals the persons graduates in four year course persons who are qualified for the desire position and deserving to get the job and to be their asset but even if you are not degree holder if you have a determination you can get good job. One of reason why we are studying because we wanted to lift up in the poor situation because education as we all know is the key to success, after i red this article many things could enter to my mind this program could really help but if we think of all of this there are advantage and dis advantage to this program .The advantage is our skills interms of education will be increase but the dis advantage is the expenses of the parents will increase too.
For me no need to increase the years of education,i wante to increase are the quality of teaching and to encouragement for every student to study hard.

3) Philippine to leapfrog to be the 16th largest economy by 2050 it is not

It is not impossible for the philippines to become one of the tiger economy in the world for a few decades from now because is rich for national resources but only if there is a good governance . No more corruptions is one of the hindrance for a country's economy to grow higher.
Quality of education is very much important also for the people knowledge on how they could be of help by our government talking about china ,it is possible that china will overtake us in few decades from now only if US economy will remain unstable.China economy's statue is very much higher they are very much productive .We noticed that almost all of goods that we saw in yhe market are made in china it means that their products are in demand from all over the country .Meaning to say their economy is grower or earning higher.
if the philippines forecast is positive in how many years from now.then all of us must be happy and we must help and cooperate each other there are possibility could be a tiger economy.
Growing population a plus , there is advantages but there are dis advantages
its good if the philippines population could be educated cbut if not this is a big dis advantages right? we all know that not could be trained not all could be properly educated so how can we say that more population gain income , nothing impossible if the china is the very good country soon we all know that china is full of determination to be a rich country china is more agressive interms of business they push their business to have a more income ,

but if the philippines could help one another they can achived to lift up.
