We live in a society that depends on information and communication to keep moving in the right direction and do our daily activities like work, entertainment, health care, education, personal relationships, traveling and anything else that we have to do.
A common person in the city usually wakes up checks the tv news or newspaper, goes to work, makes a few phone calls, eats with their family when possible and makes his decisions based on the information that he has either from their co workers, news, tv, friends, family.
“We only live once so live our lives to the fullest”. Man is a social animal. He lives in social groups in communities and in society. Human life and society almost go together. Man cannot live without society. Man is biologically and psychologically equipped to live in groups, in society. Society has become an essential condition for human life to arise and to continue.
The relationship between individual and society is ultimately one of the profound of all the problems of social philosophy. It is more philosophical rather than sociological because it involves the question of values.
Man depends on society. It is in the society that an individual is surrounded and encompassed by culture, a societal force. It is in the society again that he has to conform to the norms, occupy statuses and become members of groups.
As a human being society shapes me as a reflection of others. Because am the type of the person that if I can’t change them I join them. In terms of companionship I always please them in order for them to accept me. Am not afraid to do because of Peer pressure that talk about the shitnes of being in and out of the group. By doing different shitnes in life such as smoking, alcoholic drinker and the worse one is try to use marijuana during my engineering days in RTU. I encounter different vices when am still in RTU.

When my environment change, my way of life also change through the help of those people around me. They help me to change my life style. I started to remove all the vices that I have and start to live my life in a healthy way. I become a good model to my new set of friend.
I believed that society is the one who offers everything it’s up to us how we use it. Either you go to the bad side of it or in a good side of the society.

Society has an influence on its people, but it is entirely for the people in their individual capacities to decide to either be conformist or be the exception. If more people are unable to conform, the collective will of people becomes binding and the society can not but change accordingly.

I would therefore say that it is people who shape the society although society so shaped by people does have an influence in turn on its people..... but as and when this influence fades off for one reason or another, a new shape for the society becomes inevitable. by individuals, people are shaped by choices. One of the many choices is who to hang around with, that is which society to hang around with and therefore people shape society.
society shapes us continually. the media definitely influences today's society via messages through the television, radio, magazines, and billboards. It seems that in today's.day and age to even be "noticed" as a woman one must be tall, skinny, blonde, and countless other things that the "average woman" could only hope for. Today, if one is not comfortable with who or what they are, they may encounter many dilemmas. I found three convincing reasons to support my claim: the rise of eating disorders throughout history, percentages and statistics, and my own personal experience. The Rise of Eating Disorders Throughout History As far back as the 18th century, women began dieting. They submitted themselves to food deprivation, enemas, and purging. In order to achieve that "hourglass" figure, some women went as far as having their lower ribs surgically removed.

Societies is characterized by patterns of relationships or social relations between individuals who share a distinctive culture and institutions a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent members. It is the environment where we live, grow, and shaped of “who we are” and “who we choose to be”. But we know deep inside ourselves the we are the master of our lives and fate. But many do not understand or realize thos reality so they are choosing to just let others shape them.

Our culture and the society around us play a very dominant role in the values we choose. Sometimes this is planned, and intentional. Sometimes it is unplanned, unseen and unintentional. Sometimes we choose to accept the values of others. Sometimes we choose to rebel against them. Either way they are influential. If we live with hostility, we learnt to fight. If we live in honesty, we learnt truthfulness. If we live in fairness, we learnt justice.

There is a part of society that we call “religion” who teaches us about our creator or our God. That God creates us, God loves us who ever we are. And we are all sinners that we are born of sin. We are not perfect, we are unclean, we are weak. So we simply accepts this as the truth so we live our lives of fear to God. So it results us praying, doing good to other people and spread the word of God just to be accepted by him and to cover our sins. Like me, I have been raised buy my parents believing in God so I’ve become a roman catholic like what their parents do to them. But it is not really what the chosen but it is the society that made it happen. But not all of us believes in this. So some people excommunicate and condemn them.

Society is our creation. It is a creation of a group of people’s conciousnes s, and each one of us belong in different groups. So we simply shape our own society. When people changed our society also will change.

Society influenced people around it. But it is for the people in their individual choices or to decide on what will they be.It is our choice who to hang with and which society to hang around. So if people chose for themselves on who and what will they be. I will say that it is the people who shape the society.

On my own experience, I think I’ve been changed by the society a bit. I use to be a shy guy, but when I started to change my environment which is the school, my shyness gradually fades because of the people around. And I think that is what I need to be because im an HRM student.

But in the end we can say that it is both ways. We shape society and the society shapes us. Humans have the nature of learning through observance and experience. And where do you think we get observed and experience? Of course in the society we live in. But as well, the society is nothing but we people ourselves who have learned and been shaped in exact way.

People in every workplace talk about organizational culture, that mysterious word that characterizes a work environment. One of the key questions and assessments, when employers interview a prospective employee, explores whether the candidate is a good cultural fit. Culture is difficult to define, but you generally know when you have found an employee who appears to fit your culture. He just feels right.

Culture is the environment that surrounds you at work all of the time. Culture is a powerful element that shapes your work enjoyment, your work relationships, and your work processes. But, culture is something that you cannot actually see, except through its physical manifestations in your work place.

In many ways, culture is like personality. In a person, the personality is made up of the values, beliefs, underlying assumptions, interests, experiences, upbringing, and habits that create a person’s behavior.

Culture is made up of the values, beliefs, underlying assumptions, attitudes, and behaviors shared by a group of people. Culture is the behavior that results when a group arrives at a set of - generally unspoken and unwritten - rules for working together.
