1. One of the Filipino values which i considered as our strength is what we called Family Oriented. Because Filipino we are valuing the importance of family. And as a Filipino we are particular to spend time with our relatives like parents, siblings cousins, grandparents who can gave us love and comfort which we cannot find it outside.
- And one of the Filipino values which i considered as our weakness is what we called EXTREME PERSONAL ISM .extreme personal ism means it is the quality of being characterized by purely personal modes of expression or behaviour; idiosyncrasy . Actually it is what already going on in our political government.Having idiosyncrasy in the possessions resulting into graft and corruption that leading as into extreme poverty of the Filipino people.
2. The Theory on the hierarchy needs by Abraham Maslow pointed out that a person must satisfy first the lower needs which are: Physiological level, safety, social and belongingness, esteem, self actualization before he can actually realize his self worth and potential. In safety need it tells about the safety and protection of every a man due to housing or shelter which is one of our basic needs. But in ancient history the Aeta's lives before even without a house, this is what we called a nomadic people they are the people who didn't have a permanent house or place. So, it’s just only means that, safety needs composes of house or shelter is not a basic needs of individual ,its only shows that Maslow theory is not really the basis of the fulfilment of our needs .Because we can actually live our life even without a house or shelter like what Aeta's did before.
3. The importance of studying Filipino system it’s helping us to understand our Filipino values in order to enable us to put the positive sides of Filipino values in use and to disregard the negative ones. Thus, in the end, through the development and use of positive Filipino values, we may bring out the best in the Filipino society in general and individual in particular.

1.First is being hospitable which I consider as a strength and second is closed-family-tie which I consider as a weakness.
Hospitable is strength because we, Filipinos are popular for being hospitable. Tourist and investors keep on coming back to our nation and that make our economy grows steady and alive. It is the warm welcome and great accommodation that they received that made them come to Philippines.
Close-family-tie is a weakness though it shows how we Filipinos love our family to a point that we live close to them. Because of this, children who have children of their own rely their needs to their parents, so the scenario would be this, the burden will be handled by the grandparents. Another is those who have work will supply the needs of the whole family.

2.Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
In his theory, he grouped the needs of human beings according to its level- from the most important to the least. I agree in his ways of categorizing the needs especially that he put the psychological needs as the most needed. He just forgot to include the needs like the needs of acceptance and community that will outweigh the needs for freedom and individuality.

3.The importance of studying the Filipino value system is that it would be the standards or principles set forth by the Filipino society as basis for what is right or wrong. In order to understand the Filipino culture and the development of the Filipino individual, one has to understand the underlying values on which every Filipino acts. Thus, a study on the Filipino values would provide a deeper understanding of the Filipino culture. We Filipinos should know this system to have it as our guide too.

MOST of Weakness of Filipino:
-Financial Problem: because the our country usually to other family is lacking in financial if seepage having low economic . and because of financial problem likely develop the disagreement to others

2.Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs
--The most fundamental and basic four layers of the pyramid contain what Maslow called "deficiency needs" or "d-needs": esteem, friendship and love, security, and physical needs. With the exception of the most fundamental (physiological) needs, if these "deficiency needs" are not met, the body gives no physical indication but the individual feels anxious and tense. Maslow's theory suggests that the most basic level of needs must be met before the individual will strongly desire (or focus motivation upon) the secondary or higher level needs. Maslow also coined the term Metamotivation to describe the motivation of people who go beyond the scope of the basic needs and strive for constant betterment. Metamotivated people are driven by B-needs (Being Needs), instead of deficiency needs (D-Needs).

1. strength ["Hospitality"]

The Filipinos are very hospitable when it comes to their fellowmen. They will invite their visitors to come into their homes and offer them treats such as snacks and drinks after a long journey. There are also instances when the Filipinos will serve only the best to their visitors even if at times they may not be able to afford it. They also go the extremes as to give up the comfort of their own bedrooms for their guests and to the point of sleeping on floor just to ensure that their guests are comfortable.

2. weaknesses ["Patigasan"]
This means resisting all efforts to a reconciliation. Because of the Filipino "amor propio" or ego-defensiveness, it is very difficult for them to surrender their pride. It is noticeable that most Filipinos find it difficult to say the word "sorry". It's better for them to act tough ("matigas") rather than say sorry because to do the same is to sacrifice their precious pride.

3. Maslow’s hierarchy criticized as being individualistic because of the position and value of sex on the pyramid. Maslow’s pyramid puts sex on the bottom rung of physiological needs, along with breathing and food. It views sex from an individualistic and not collectivist perspective: i.e., as an individualistic physiological need that must be satisfied before one moves on to higher pursuits. This view of sex neglects the emotional, familial and evolutionary implications of sex within the community.

The importance of studying Filipino value system is to help us understand our filipino values to enable us to put the positive side of filipino values in use and disregard the negative one.thus, in the end, through the development and use of positive filipino values, we may bring out the best in the filipino society in general and individual in particular.

To know the good and wrong attitudes and values

1. I think the strength of the Filipinos when it comes to values is being hospitable.. Because it's one of the reasons why many people from different countries prefer to live here in the Philippines. Some of them even end up marrying a Filipino citizen. That happens because they feel they were really welcome and loved by the Filipinos. The way we approach them, the way we talk to them, is very different from the way they do in their country.

And the weakness of the Filipinos is being super close to their families.. Because being so attached to your family makes someone dependent that he could never learn to do things their own way without the help of his or her family..

2. I really have no question regarding Abraham Maslow's theory.. Because the things inside his hierarchy of needs are the thing that we really need in life..

3. The importance of studying the Filipino value system is that we will be able to know the different values that the Filipino people like us possess and it's a necessity for us to know that in order for us to acknowledge our strengths and at the same time develop our weaknesses..

1.) One of the strength Filipino values is Faith and Religiosity, because
what ever problems come into their life they are still strong because
of their faith in God.

One of the weakness Filipino values is kanya-kanya syndrome, because if
they feel that their goods is sufficient only for their family they
will not share to someone who need too.

2.) The theory of hierarchy illustrated the five level of needs such as
Physiological level, safety, social and belongingness, self -esteem and
self-actualization. Maslow said that a person must satisfy first the
lower needs before he can actually realize his self worth and potential

3.) The importance of studying Filipino values is will give us more
understanding on how values relate to our daily life.It will give us
also more information so that we can keep the positive Filipino values
and we can disregard the negative ones.

ANSWER:

1)Two Filipino Values;the weakness of Filipino is lack of discipline, like violating the traffic rules on the roads leading to serious accidents. The strength is the ability to survive, when some of Filipinos income is less than their previous salary earned and have no much money to buy food, they just take some crops on their backyard that they have planted.

2)Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs is simply guiding principles and motivations to better understand ourselves and examine our potentials. The person himself is the best qualified in changing and directing his life. He is the one who had an alternative whether to do or not to do an act. It should be accompanied by responsibility.

3) Studying Filipino Value System is important because it is the way to help us understand Filipino Values to enable us to put the positive side of Filipino values in use and to disregard the negative ones. b.) for me my weakness is the bahala na bec.if i not prepared to my report , especially if i not review for my exams i'll say " bahala na si batman "

2.)Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory is that people are motivated by needs that remain unsatisfied, and that certain lower factors have to be satisfied in order for higher needs to be recognized as unfulfilled. Maslow identified general categories of needs (survival, physiological, love, safety, and esteem) which have to be fulfilled in order for someone to act in an unselfish manner. These needs were referred to as "deficiency needs." While we are motivated to fulfill these needs, we progress toward growth and, eventually, self-actualization. It is a healthy, normal part of life to attempt to satisfy these needs. While, on the other hand, prevention of this gratification can make the person sick or even act in an evil manner.

1.
Give your biggest failure?
Focus on something outside your work or something that happened on the job that you later fixed. Do not admit to any personal quality that might hamper job performance, such as procrastination, laziness or lack of concentration. Choose something that will not reflect badly on your ability to perform in the given position, such as one that took place early in your career. For example,
"My biggest failure was not being selected as a SEAL because I was diagnosed with night vision problems. When I was 18, all I wanted to be was a SEAL. But I'm glad I didn't, because I may have overlooked an exciting career in information technology" or "When I was working at CL Advertising Associates,I felt awful and thought I would be fired. I was determined to get the account back and did after six months. Today the account makes up 1/3 of CL Advertising.

What are the major reasons for your success?
This is not the time to become extremely self-centered and arrogant. Keep in mind that employers are often looking for team players rather than Lone Rangers. A good response to this question may relate to a mentor/and or philosophy of work or the people you work with. Also, use this question as an opportunity to inquire about an appropriate "fit for success" with this company. For example,
"Many years ago I learned an important lesson from Bob Nelson, who was my first supervisor and really became my most important mentor. He told me his secret to success was to 'Look at each day as a new opportunity to be your very best. Set high goals, be honest, never say no, and work with people who share your passion for doing their best.' I've always remembered that advice and try to live it every day. I am very self motivated, determined and honest. I really love what I do and I try to surround myself with people who share similar passions. I thrive on this type of environment. Am I likely to find this environment with your company? Can you tell me a little more about the characteristics of successful people at your company? What do you see as some of the key success factors for this position?

2.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs is often portrayed in the shape of a pyramid, with the largest and most fundamental levels of needs at the bottom, and the need for
Physiological needs For the most part, physiological needs are obvious — they are the literal requirements for human survival. If these requirements are not met, the human body simply cannot continue to function.

3.
What are values?
Before delving into the discussion of values – Filipino values, inparticular – it is worth analyzing the word itself. The word“value” has its root in the Latin word “valere” which means tobe strong and vigorous. This proceeds from the premise that ahuman person has to have strength or valor in every endeavor. It is the basis on which his strength in facing the challenges of life should be directe

For my weaknesses I considered Mañana Habit because when we have a written assignment I always say "Bukas ko na lang gagawin" .This is the Filipino habit of leaving for tomorrow what they can do today.

2.Maslow presented the idea that human actions are directed toward goal attainment. Any given behavior could satisfy several functions at the same time; for instance, going to a pub could satisfy one’s needs for self-esteem and for social interaction.

3.We essentially study the Filipino value system to show the differences of the Filipino values to the other country. It is also important to have a good personality. We should continue to use the positive values and keep only the negative values.
