1.Many people may not realize that the separation of church and state can, in theory at least, be much more strict in the Philippines than in the United States. The Manila Regional Trial Court, has ruled, for example, that religious leaders cannot endorse political candidates running for office. Even more strict was another ruling which held that if the head of a religious organization "influences or threatens to punish" members of that group, he or she could be charged with coercion and with a violation of the members' right to vote freely.
2.there was no Philippine state because
The invasion of the Filipinos by Spain did not begin in earnest until 1564, when another expedition from New Spain, commanded by Miguel López de Legaspi, arrived. Permanent Spanish settlement was not established until 1565 when an expedition led by Miguel López de Legazpi, the first Governor-General of the Philippines, arrived in Cebu from New Spain. Spanish leadership was soon established over many small independent communities that previously had known no central rule. Six years later, following the defeat of the local Muslim ruler, Legazpi established a capital at Manila, a location that offered the outstanding harbor of Manila Bay, a large population, and closeness to the sufficient food supplies of the central Luzon rice lands. Manila became the center of Spanish civil, military, religious, and commercial activity in the islands. By 1571, when López de Legaspi established the Spanish city of Manila on the site of a Moro town he had conquered the year before, the Spanish grip in the Philippines was secure which became their outpost in the East Indies, in spite of the opposition of the Portuguese, who desired to maintain their monopoly on East Asian trade. The Philippines was administered as a province of New Spain (Mexico) until Mexican independence (1821).
3.For me i wont grab that opportunity because as a president, its really hard, and malaki ang responsibility that's all thank you sir.

1.According to the 1987 Philippine constitution the church should be separated from the state when it comes to imposing the law,in Philippine society it is very important because sometimes when it comes to imposing the law there is a conflict between the perspective between the two, for instance in the dilation of the RH bill proposed by Rep.Edcel Lagman to become the law because the church has a campaign to pass it as a law because according to them it is anti life and it is for immoral that is they’re reason for revoking it. As we review our history, during the Spanish colonization the church still had a control over the state affairs based on the scenario that we have now here in our country today.
Separation between this two is very important because what if in the future there will be a proposal of the law that is needed to solve the incoming burden of our country and again the church refused to make it as a law, what will happen to us? The government must do something to resolve this issue.
2. During the Spanish colonization there is no state such as Philippine state, because although Philippine had its form of government still we do not have sovereignty or the freedom to impose our own law because that time the decision is still up to the hands of Spanish authority. Philippine was called a state when we claim our freedom again, thanks to our national heroes for fighting and give their lives for us to be free. When the time came that Philippines has a complete element to be called as a state
3. It is hard to become the president of our country because of the responsibilities that you were going to face, but I will take the challenge because I want to make something that worthy and I want to change the situation of our country it may not be the outstanding one but I will see to it that it will be the better.

Answer for the question 1

The doctrine of separation of the church and state refers to the distance in the relationship between organized religion and the nation state. The term is an offshoot of the phrase,”wall of separation between church and state ,” as written in Thomas Jefferson’s to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802. It is also a political and legal doctrine that government and religious institution are to kept separate and independent to each other. The term most often refers to the combination of two principles: secularity of government and freedom of religious exercise.

Answer to the question 2

Yes, because of the democratic constitution. The republic of the Philippines became state today because it has three main geographical divisions: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Answer to the question 3

Yes, I would dare the challenge because I want to continue exercising the powers and duties of his office, and protect the people. So that Philippines known as one of the riches countries and so that there is no poverty already.

The Doctrine of separation of the church and state are many of them wants to follow their own doctrine about the law and to teach the different doctrine in church and state. In church many of them wants to follow the word of God and make it now of all the people in Philippine and make their own belief of what bible said while un state they want to follow the law and the rights that the government said and make it now and teach and follow it carefully un their life.

2. Maybe, because during Spanish they conquer the Philippine they want to have and change the Philippine state in their own state and Philippine are making poor and the people around it are became slave and force to labor in the Spanish people. ---> this means that here in our country theirs a religious organization "influences or threatens to punish" members of that group, he or she could be charged with coercion and with a violation of the members' right to vote freely. we are in a presidential country that we can vote what we want ho rule in our country.the reality of the separation of church and state in the Philippines does not always match the theory

2. no. because that time the Philippines were founded by Spaniards . we cant do what we want because for 300 years ago, they conquered our country and because of this a lot has been changes. Even in terms of Law.... the Spaniards always the one ho made it.

3.No, because it’s very hard for me to be clean in front of eyes in the people. we all know that Politics is dirty from the eye of people.
What I mean it doesn’t matter if I’m going to dare that challenge I could help my my countrymen even I’m not taking to be a president. I can help in other way. :D but if it is Gods will for me ... why not.

1. The concept of separation of church and state refers to the distance in the relationship between organize relation and the nation state. This has since been adopted in a number of countries, to varying degrees depending on the applicable legal structures and prevalent views toward the proper role of religion an the society.
In the Philippines, the governvent and the church has different belief in such as the Reproductive Health Bill. They dont varries in some ways of implementing this. The concept of this separation of church and state parallels various other international social and political ideas, including secularism, disestablishment, religious liberty, and religious pluralism.

2. During the spanish colonization, the Philippines is not yet a state because Philippines is still under the Spaniards. We dont have the government of our own to which the great body of inhabitants render, obedience and enjoying freedom from external control.

The Republic of the Philippines is a state today because Philippines has its own essential elements wich are people, territory, government and soveriegnity. We have our own government which and wherein a great body of inhabitants render obidience and Philippines is enjoying freedom from external control.

3.If I would be given the chance to become the next president of the Republic of the Philippines, I would dare the challenge by governing my constituents of good leadership. Leading to a progressive and prosperous country.I will not corrupt and iu will see to it that my officials will not going to corrupt too.

The concept of separation of Church and State shall be inviolable and No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights.
The significance in the Philippines of the separation of the church and state is that each one of them has the freedom to make policies and decisions and they can do what they want to be implemented with the respect of the other.

2) During the Spanish colonization, the Philippines is not yet a state because Spaniards ruled the Philippines and the sovereignty that must a state have is still hold by the Spaniards.
The elements of the states that includes the territory, people, government and sovereignty make the republic of the Philippines became a state. That with the absence of one of the said element a country cannot be considered as a state.

3) Being a Public Servant is a hard Profession especially in making decisions and in implementing it but if I would be given a chance to be the president I would take the challenge because I want to make decisions that will change the country, and to contribute something in uplifting the economic-status that we have.

Philippine Goverment and Constitution

1.) The doctrine of separation of the cherch and state is concept in law whereby the structures of state or national goverment are kept separate from those of religious institutions. THIS RELATED TO "FREEDOM OF RELIGION".

The significance of such doctraine in the Philippines society are the following.

-The state doesn't have to interfer with the religious institution this giving religious liberty and society, wherein the right of every person to choose a religion freely to maintain religious belief without coercion to engage in public worship and like.

2.) During the spanish colonization, there was small states flourished from as early as 10th century AD. The Philippine Revolution against. Spain was largely unsuccessful until it received support from the United State, culminating 2 years later with a proclamation of independence and establishment of the first Philippine Republic.

3.) If given the chance to be next president of the Republic of the Philippines, I would wholeheartedly dare such challenge in order to visualize how a president handles the country, With that , many aspects of my life will be changed because I know being the leader of a country like Philippines is no longer a joke. It involves brain, power, determination and brave heart in order to be an effective head of the state.
